K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid) is an acronym that fits in perfectly here. Sure, this idea has merit, but we could easily fit this into the achievements sector with a good target to reach for each of them with a one-time reward for achieving it.


Formulas that have factors change every time a member leaves? NO. This would be much simpler to have a goal reached, an achievement achieved, and a nice little reward for each member. A + B = C, don't make it some complicated calculus formula!



Guild Achievements should be expanded to probably 10 or 15 things we can work as a group to achieve. I do like some of the suggestions in the OP but they should be achievements not medals.

As stated here, we should have 10-15 achievements to work toward as a guild rather than 4 achievements here, 6 medals there, and whatever else comes along the road that could also easily be added to the achievements category.

This isn't really a topic that can be argued. People can play the game how they choose and if they decide to GvG for profit, they can. If they decide to GvG and put everything back into the guild, they can. GvG Epics is a way to circulate FSP in the game and a lot of times its a way to get people to drop some cash in the game to be able to buy them because they do not want to put in the effort to get the Epics themselves. So with that said, I think GvGing is great for the game to circulate some FSP/cash.

Securing a spot in the top 100 takes some costs and there is always the chance if they don't stay in. The people that put in those high level scores know those costs.


Besides, getting 100,000 kills in this global is just getting 20,000 kills in a regular global if you are just killing the shadow bunnies. If the trend of top 100 qualifying kills stays its course of getting 20,000 kills as a minimum (Looking at past globals where each kill counted as 1 kill), then the lowest score for this global will be 100,000 kills. So, really you are just asking for 3 or 4 bonus chests for just doing your own thing of qualifying in the top 100.


You should be fine with the 2 bonus chests.

I actually like having to click to kill the champions and Elites. Provides a nice safety net for me so that I don't accidentally hit the key to kill it when I am not ready to hit it. And it doesn't slow down the hunting process all that much.

So 5 new potion skills are being added.


But only 10 new cast able buffs would still pose a problem as players will soon have all the skills and no skill left to put points into.

Baby steps. There will always be time to add more skills later on.

I also do not agree with upping it to 50%.  Then half an 8 person arena is filled with one guild and the other four from a different guild..again...too easy to manipulate system, but its not increasing activity in arena by bringing in new or "old" players.

You see 50% of an 8 player tournament as one guild "manipulating" the tournament, I see it as 100% of an arena filled with 8 people fighting for the win. 



The OP did NOT say player XXXXX was not playing arena any more, just going to another guild so they could participate in more arenas. So changing the rule will not get more participation.  By adding new Things or adding back the old GOLD arenas or any of the other suggested rewards WILL attract new Players.

Adding new rewards is only a temporary fix to a system that could be made better. Just one of those things that is saying "Hm.. well, I could get a new pipe and replace it with the cracked one... or I could just slap duct tape on it now and worry about it later."


What's a more permanent suggestion to this problem? Hm... I'm going to have to say, increase it to 50% or even 37.5%. I can guarantee that there will be more participation in the arena.

How about we give this rule a test? 


So many of you claim that if this rule were taken down, people would "manipulate" the arenas to boost their buddies to get some wins.


Some of you say that if it were taken down, the arena would flourish all those that kept getting blocked by the 25% rule in their guilds.


Let's test out these theories by taking down the rule. If the arena becomes "manipulated" and people are trying to boost their friends' wins, then put the rule back up. If the arena flourishes with new people coming back to the arena, let's keep it down.

A little late in the game for this suggestion (I think), but what if we were just to get prizes as tokens able to spend at a store for bound items (much like the arena)? Prizes could go anywhere from Epic gear to Epic pots or even some stamina. Just a little something that would go farther for each player and something worth the amount of stamina that would need to be put in to get those key points. 


And regarding the total kill count, sure it is a bummer we did not make it this time but I don't think that it should be lowered just because of that reason. Yes, there are less and less players in the game but you have to ask what if? What if we got some more interest in the game? Would we simply just increase the amount of kills then or keep the same lowered price (if we lowered it)? We have been brought up with these globals with success after success with achieving the ruby tier that we are at the point of saying that we deserve the ruby tier every time when that isn't always true. 


Will decreasing the total kill amount required for these globals solve our whole problem or will we continue to find flaws in things around us rather that our own flaws?

i just would like to see an update on this thread with the new dates...not the old dates where we have no idea what is going on..is that to much to ask ???..at this time i dont have any idea what is really in the plans and when

I would personally like to see NO dates whatsoever on the thread. That way there is no false hope being given out. A simple "On the queue" and "In progress" would do just fine.

oh really..??? i do not see anything updated from the first post on this thread...nothing done that i see..arena dead...pvp dead..gvg dead...no updates on those..is anything ever going to be done about these ? where on the dev. roadmap are these..my first post on this thread..still shows things from last year...what am i missing....pleeeeeease fix your major aspects of the game...pleease...

I just assign all my own gear/potions/etc into their own folders and leave the main folder clear for any and all items sent to me. No real need to have an upgrade for this.

Perhaps other option would be to use SE items instead of LEs. Yes they are around all the time yet their numbers are somehow limited... for example destroyer pot still holds some value since it is being used in inventing and Malphas is one of the few almost regularly hunted SEs now.

That would definitely work. Would put some activity and even some high competition into the SE game depending on the usefulness of the new gear.
