roughly one month after part one is released, all players will revieve message via news that four (at least) new creatures have been introduced. these creatures would be;
dark/light summoner:
att:100-1000
def: 100-1000
dmg: 100-500 (magic..omg!)
hp:1000- 10,000
ac: 1-999
resistances: 2% all - 98% all (omg, variable resistanes!)
skills: summon enhanced
dark/light summon:
spirit:
att:100-11,000
def: 100-10,000
dmg: 500-10,000
hp:10- 100,000
ac: 1-99999
skills: protect summoner
creature skills:
summon enhanced: while there is a summon type create (dark/light summon) of that summoner's type on the sqaure, any attacks to this creature will be redirected to the summon type creature (including square spell attacks).
protect summoner: classifies as a summon creature type creature. can only be killed with another summon.
-----------------------------------
now, depending on which side you decided to accept the quest for, you will want to kill creature of the oppote type (if you chose the gray path via library+sacred grounds, you will target both).
goal is for one side to kill XXXXXXX number of their opposing summoners. if XXXXXXX are not killed by either side, the victory goes to the gray side, who will be killing these creatures so that the opposing sides cannot.

The quest is lame and has no real point, it's that simple lol
no more 'lame' than 95% of our other quests.
it would add a new dimension to quests where you have to pick a side, rather than just going along with the script. plus it would foster competition, as people tried to compete on opposing sides. how is that 'lame' ?

The quest itself is lame, serves no real purpose and do you actually think people are going to start hunting summons with their summons? If you want opposing sides then go with my invasion idea that is based on what class medallion you chose in Shattered Allegiance (Part 2,) where you fight on that side and collect badges from the opposing sides and then turn those in for nice uber gear at your side's base.
oh, you mean like my idea from over year ago

the point of the summon creatures is that YOU can't hurt them, and thus can not hurt the summoner until they have been killed. therefore, you need to make use of your own summon.

And as I HAVE stated:
The quest itself is lame, serves no real purpose and do you actually think people are going to start hunting summons with their summons?
And furthermore your idea has nothing to do with my idea whatsoever, the idea I described is something that Toth, Ali, and myself came up with in the SB one night thank you very much.
the basic point is to make summons usefull, i still don't see how that is lame.
maybe as a warrior you're too used to the simple 1)locate 2) move 3) attack hunting. so forgive me for trying to make things more interesting and putting an actuall RP into our quests
