Wasnt sure about where to ask this, i need some info from the people in the know here!
Right, i will try to explain what i need as best as i can.

On the 'Level point distribution screen' the stats are shown as follows:
Atk - 550
AC - 300
Min Dmg - 1216
Max Dmg - 1218
On the 'main screen' my stats are as follows:
Atk - 1395 (+845)
Ac - 1313 (+750)
Min Dmg - 2383 (+1200)
Max Dmg - 2585 (+1200)

Sooooo,
Atk 1395 - 845 = base 550 which is correct!
take Ac, 1313 - 750 should leave a base of 300, but it is 563?
Min Dmg 2383 - 1200 should leave me a base of 1216, but it is 1183?
Max Dmg 2585 - 1200 should leave me a base of 1218, but it is 1385?

I am just trying to figure out how the numbers work, how are the numbers in brackets calculated etc, because i am trying to work vial percentages but without knowing what to work from i cant do it!

I am a warrior subclass, but even if i attempt to factor in the bonusses for that I still cant get it to work!

Please, if anyone knows what i am doing wrong put me out of my misery!

Thanks

Make sure you are doing your math in the correct order:
[((Base * SkillPt% * Vial) + Items) * Class]

Where
Base = Base character Stat
SkillPt = Skills that might effect stats; Constitution for HP, Mystic for MP, Rock Skin for Ac
Vial = Vial bonus to stat
Items = Items bonus to stat
Class = Class bonus to stat

Still cant get it to work, its wierd, on my dmg it has (+1200) in brackets, i believe this is from equipped items, but when i add up all the bonusses from my items, they only come to 690.

it is blagging my head now!

The damage modifier in brackets is a bit wonky - for your weapon it adds both the weapon's minimum damage AND its maximum damage, so it gives a false reading.

Yes, it's silly :P

yea, don't try to match the damage numbers up, unless you are stricktly matching min and max damage.

Also you might want to try this, could be helpful for you if you are just trying to see what's the best gear/vial to hunt with.

I dont have excel :(

There's always OpenOffice - it's free, and the spreadsheet is Excel compatible.

It's a rather large download though (+90MB) so you might want to avoid it if you're on dialup :)

Woohoo, Cracked it! - with thanks to wolfjack's calculation above.

Actual calculations:

Atk, Dmg, Ac e.t.c = ((Base * Vial) + extra) * class
min dmg: ((Base * Vial) + extra2) * class
max dmg: ((Base * Vial) + extra3) * class

where:
Base = Actual figure shown on the 'Level-up' screen
Vial = Vial bonus, e.g yellow spore gives 30% to dmg, so it would be 1.3
extra = Value in brackets next to your chosen stat
extra2 = Value in brackets next to your damage value MINUS your weapon's
max damage.
extra3 = Value in brackets next to your damage value MINUS your weapon's min damage.
Class = Class bonus, for a warrior it is 25%, so 1.25
