ATLEAST MAKE REPAIRING LIKE FS!!

See its really hampering progress,Everytime going to repairing centre is virtually impossible (ok accepted,dont restore our healths bwe will buy health packs,BUT Pls do something about this)
If u dont want to make it repairing like FALLENSWORD,Just make some item for certain value which repairs them.
but pls change the current system

I wouldn't agree, for a simple reason: very few people can fix their own car by themselves ;-) Why shouldn't it be the same in this game? ;) A good solution would perhaps be to add a core "auto-repear" skill?

or rather have an auto-repair based off of your adrenaline/psi/rad/surge bar with a bonus or penalty based on your class:
- Soldier: No bonuses or penalties
- Purist: 0.5x Repair Points
- Mutant: Random between 0.5x to 1.5x
- Cyborg: 1.5x Repair Points

Repairs 20 Points (+0.1% per point) upon use. Random Distribution of points across items.
Adren/Psi/Surge/Rad: 10
Duration: Instant Effect

In effect something along those lines.

I like the idea of the repair mechanism in this game. If a repair tool that can be purchased and carried is added it should be much (not a few creds) more expensive to use than the mechanic. The use of the shops requires planning and maybe even thought about gear to bring with or some form of coordination. This is a good thing.

This is not FS. I don't want FS based stuff in here.... In this game you need to find someone to fix your broken things. It's harder. That can be good.

you just gave ne an idea.:idea:


put more repair hubs in each area. it would makke sence in realizm sence cus if i was getting as much buisiness as the repair hubs are i would defenitely build more stores. 1-4 in each area depending on the projected need to repair in a sertain place.

It isn't impossible, really? You just have to keep a measure of your repair state and know when it's time to pay a visit to the mechanic. It means that, unlike Fallensword, you can just wander around constantly smack-smack-smacking without any thought for the state of your items. That isn't overly realistic... and Sigmastorm is going for that greater sense of realism. Plan ahead, keep more than one weapon handy, and be prepared to retreat occasionally.

IF they made it like Fallen Sword, then they would have to call it Fallen Sword II, this is a different game, duh. The entire game is based on this and MANY other differences.

Sounds good, except for the bonus/penalty part. If it was even, that would be fine, but like it is, it gives an unfair advantage to cyborg and an unfair disadvantage to purist.

nah, this isnt FS, therefore it should NOT change, fine the way it is. Your not the only one that has to go somewhere to repair. :roll:
