But now im stuck. Being lvl 11 and having to kill some elite monster that spawns at hour times only and 4 of them at once.
Even then I cant find it. Why? because there are level +16 or more ppl hunting it for items it drops. I need to do quest and they kill everything before i can even move. I have been stuck now around 18h in single world spending my energy moving or just letting it overflow my max. I could kill monsters to lvlup one more lvl but cant much lvl more in one area.
So why does a new person who comes to game find out half way playing that they cant play or advance anymore because higher lvl ppl are killing their quest monsters? Beside the higher lvl ppl the competition to the quest is high as the community is growing and ppl are piling up in the area.. Im sure some pass the place who can afford buying the location by paying crystals to players who find them. But im trying to keep it F2P and need my few credit for ammo or equip.
Just my 2cents about the game

The one you're trying to go to is a 'reward' area for the quest, it's just a shop where you can buy special blueprints to build the Elite set.
There's another exit to the next zone, maybe you didn't look at the whole map?

I think he makes a great point, and express one of my hugh sticking points. There is no way human (or other wise) possible, other than random luck, to kill a HK.....look at the logs, the damn thing spawns at :05 and all 3 spawns are killed exactly at :05, that is insane. You have 60k + people starting to climb ranks and a hugh amount of people, lvl 16 and above (me for example who now needs the skill points) searching for the damn thing. I think Hoof really needs to look at MINIMUM adding 6-8 more spawns d/t the demand just by the shear numbers looking for the creep HK spawn. It is a interest killer at the lower levels and a point of HUGH frustration at the higher levels!!
So, I am not human (or other wise)? If you know when they spawn look then....

lmao I know exactly when the HK and all the other elites spawn, I real am not stupid, promise. When the HK is spawned exactly at :05 server time and you search for 1 min, and look at the log, ALL 3 HK's are killed on exactly :05 server time, there is no skill involved it is all being the luckest one to land 3-4 squares from the HK......

First off, he brings up no good points because they are based on a misconception of the quest, thinking that you needed to finish to move on.I think he makes a great point, and express one of my hugh sticking points. Second, the HK quest doesn't give skill points, just exp.
I also love how you just completely copied and pasted the paragraph you wrote in your own thread onto this thread to propagate your ideas. The Mutant Elder eyes you wearily, 'Have you completed your trial and kill the Proto Stim Warrior (HK)?'
The Elder Mutant stares at you for a moment, 'I am astonished that you accomplished this, when my own Tribe shirk such tests. I shall return and tell of your deeds, and they shall know their shame.'
'I shall now open the way to the Phantom Hold, within this secret place you shall find a shop that sells some special Blueprints.
'Luck to you Unit.'
You receive 866 Xp

Im and RPG fan and love to do quests, move around the world looking for something while lvling up. As i play FS i know how important is to save every bit of energy/stamina. So running around in one area meaninglessly or letting energy go over ur max because you just dont have time to "hunt" a certain monster "every" hour is killing interest fast.
So why cant there be 2 different monsters, let the high lvls mess around and hunt one and lowbies can do their quests? If i intend to stay F2P player why should i give up special equipment because of this?
I really hope that i dont end up same kind of situations in future too because then i would really consider leaving this game rather than keep pushing on and being "bullied" by high lvl ppl.
(PS. just to clarify if someone misunderstands me. Im only talking about this kind of situations. I can understand if the quest would need a drop from an elite because then i know im too lazy to hunt anything and would rather buy the quest item)

Even though now i have moved on and given up on that quest, it is still odd for me to see that new ppl should give up on quests and the reward exp just because the competition goes beyond fighting with ur own lvl ppl.

Ive been around for a while, and had the strange idea to lvl up for a difference...
I came into the lvl 10 area as a lvl 10 player, and I accepted the quest...
I read the forum when the Elites spawn and searched EXACTLY at that time...
I found one yesterday with using 100 energy, today I tried the same and guess...
I found ANOTHER ONE
I tried 3 times and found an elite 2 times, means there are possibilities enough
to get your kill...

and I don't mind reporting, I have 0 HK kills and counting.. all skill baby! [Kyle pulls a muscle in his arm patting himself on the back] *ow*.. my secret was passing through the area without stopping for a second, if anyone wants to try it feel free.. It's fun and comes in spearmint flavor too.
