there is no perfect set per se. kinda depends upon your style of playing. some like high att/dmg setup, while others prefer balanced setup with high def. elite set tend to be high att/dmg, but if you have set of fe'd core item for each 10 lvl or so, you should be fine for levelling.

well.. basically -- cacoseraph was trying to say this -- look at his 'KINETIC FLUX' acrostic in his signature.. it's in there.

But, for a VERY simplified thought-process... -- Get the Elite Set for each level range.. beginning from level 10.
you only NEED 10, 26, 50, 60, and 70.. other than that.. the level 16 and 40 aren't terribly necessary.
Then.. it's just a matter of picking the En KR whatever Weapon Add On.. and either the Scout Scope .. or the other one (yes, I know I am forgetting names out of nowhere) that is available in the same level-range. (Unless you are a Cyborg, then use the special Cyborg one).
For weapons.. you will need to upgrade weapons starting from level 10.. then at level 26 then again at level 46/47 or so when you get access to the 'Power Drill Arm'. That'll cover you until you can get one of the 'whips' in the 50s.
