ok, I know it has been said before, but please start deleting the PvP ladder people who are inactive. They are inflating the PvP stats for those players that are actually still active and strategically trying to get to the top...
Half of the top are lvl 19 players who quit right before exp gain woulda made them 20 and obsolete for their HK/PvP grounds and that is just stupid to tout them there when you are neglecting the actual people who are currently playing and climbing the ladders

So now, I'm only making 1 PvP point a kill or NONE. EVERY loss is a loss of 25 PvP points.
If this isn't broken, then I really don't know what your plan is. You tout this game as "exciting PvP". Yet you give NO INCENTIVE for top PvP players to PvP. Those numbers are insane... Anyone can see that

Agreed, went once above 1200 pvp so tryed to go for it, but most of the kills gave me no pvp gain and as every death was a huge chunk of pvp rating gone....
On the other hand whats the point of pvp rating? why not make it so that the top 10 or20 pvper get an automatic buff on them ( could be the "elite hunter" bonus) or access to specific items that have pvp ratingrequirments (sort of like wow so to understans). if this was the case pvp would have a meaning and people would actually invest some stamina into it
If pvp rewards are implemented then a pvp inactivity penalty should be in place, such as that every day unless you kill 10 people your pvp will go down (possibly scaled according to number of kills). Also there should be a function that does not allow to kill guildmates

Talazar's suggestions are great. A reward system to actually encourage people to PvP. Especially as how you advertise this as a PvP game... I really like the ideas

Yes I like those Ideas too, it would definately get me interested in PVP, because right now I don't really see any point except for getting the medals.

something has to be done.. the inactive make it hard for every active PvP lover.
either we need a By lvl point scale
or do the suggestion i read a few days ago , where everyday we dont PvP, we lose points..
i also think maybe tweaking to how one obtains said points.
for every ten wins you get 25 points or so.. something to that nature..

The PvP points should be a zero sum game. Deteriorating points is not good in that system. I think some variation of my proposal (see link) would solve this problem while maintaining the spirit of PvP and the zero sum game nature of the ladder.
