If anyone, and I mean anyone is not happy because leites spawn evey ten minutes like in FS please post here. an elite used to be a rare creature that would show up twice an our making it more common then the HK. but now I see elites randomly. elite hunting is supposed to be specified hunt that refers to the killing of elites. not just randomly wandering killing entities and an elite crosses your path, you used to have to wait for an elite and then mad hunt to kill it before someone else, i demand it be reset to every half hour, or at least every twenty minutes.

10 MINUTES IS TO CLOSE A TIME PERIOD BETWEEN EVERY HUNT.

well personally i think 3 every 15 mins would be perfect.

the reason it's not every hour or half hour is because it's needed for missions and some people don't have enough time to be waiting about for long periods of time just to miss it due to so many others looking for it.

that's the sort of thing that makes people quit

yeah, the reason it has to be so often is that killing the elites in this game is required for missions. if you want the skill points and xp from the missions that deal with elites or hks, u have to kill each hk or elite once for the mission, and more times if u want to make a set from their drops. if they spawned less often, people would complain that they couldnt finish their missions because of the large amount of competition to kill that elite. until they stop making it so that u have to kill the elites for missions than give xp and skill points, (which will most likely never happen) they will probably never make the spawns less often again.

I see where your coming from, and skill points is nice, but ùi havent gained a single skill point off a elite or HK mission. only exp is gained, and if oyu dont have time then get exp the hard way. people might complain its not often enough, Ièm complaining its too often, it should be 20 minutes at least.

AS i stated its elite hunting, not randim hunting. elite hunting is created by the players, thats what we called it, why? because it presented a challenge, I say increase drop rates and decrease spawn rates, should even out fairly.

Thats where you're wrong. In order to complete a few of the quests, you have to kill the elite, and after killing the elite u get xp and skill points. For example, killing the OT1 custodian elite (lvl 100 wise side)during the "Ascent" mission lets you get You receive 116,428 Xp and 13 Skill Points at the end of the mission; killing the dune scanner (elite) during the "Assimilation" mission you get 1,370 Xp and 10 skill points; in "Rebellious Son" killing the gundo raga (elite) gives you 20,288 Xp + 1 x Raga Battle Maul Blueprint + 10 Skill Points; killing Sharona Rai (Elite) during the "Revenge of the G27's" mission lets you get 7,500 XP and 20 skill point at the end of the mission; killing Hephtus (Elite)(lvl 100 unwise side elite) during the "The Cleansing" mission gets you 59,402 and 1 Skill Point, and destroying the Prototype Mk4 (Elite) during the "Virus Killer" mission gives you 37,922 Xp + 1 x Mk4 Laser Rifle Blueprint + 10 Skill Points as the mission reward.

So not every elite gives u skill points, but there have been at least 6 missions i could find that gave skill points as part of the reward for the mission , the above missions totaling 64 skill points, and you cant get those skill points until after you have killed the elite for those missions. So if you havent gained any skill points from killing elites, then u apparently havent done any of these 6 missions yet.

HK missions are exp only, but several of the elite missions give skill point including one at 108-110

i think with control over drop ratio everything is fine the way it is. even with spawning twice every 10 minutes, the level 80 elite gear is still expensive and takes awhile to make..

every 10 minutes allows other/more people to actually hunt/farm elites.

yeha everything is fine as is atm but i think mabey increase drop rate a little.

ie if it takes 15 components to make a set then drop rate 1 in 5

12 components 1 in 7

9 components 1 in 9

6 components 1 in 12

hk 1 in 4

Random hunting? wait, let me type this: lol.

Let's put for example the Custodian. The entire custodian map only shows 2 entities: The Kamas and the Custodians. If you want to do some elite hunting, you have to go to the "elite map" and start to move -ergo, consume your energy-, to try to find one -or even both- before the other hunters do. If you want to do some leveling you go to the Obsidian tower lvl 4 -i'm talking before the 100~110 were released-, where there are lots of mobs.

Of course, there are levels where there are entities and the elite, but you can see there are a lot less mobs than a leveling maps -you could find two or three mobs every.. 3 or 4 spaces?-, so it's not so smart to level on a "elite map".

What i'm pointing there, is that you can't start leveling -in a smart way, on a leveling map, full of mobs- and find an elite by chance, as you state. So, wether you actually focus on elite hunting, or focus on mob hunting.

That without counting that getting elite sets are NOT the same than in FallenSword. In FallenSword you just start killing elites as you find them -which, incidentally, just spawns on "elite maps", with some exceptions-, and wait to get your piece of armor, so more time to respawn is just fair. BUT, here at SigmaStorm2, you just don't get your piece of armor, you have to MAKE it, and that requires to: first, getting a drop, which not everyone has the luck to get some. Second, getting the right extracts -or even one extract at all-, as you can FAIL at the time of using up your hard earned drop -which came after competing with the other hunters to get your elite kill and getting lucky enough to get a drop-. Third, using up your hard earned credits to buy: Base armor, Blueprint and Assembling.

I think we see some difference now, huh?

So, concluding, two elite spawn every ten minutes, is fine.

and if you have low drop rate like the latest elite (yah, tell us that it is exactly same as others HCS) you will spend lot of energy before you make a set. even at 2/10min spawn.

i demand it be reset to every half hour, or at least every twenty minutes.

I cracked up on reading this line... demand is so NOT the right word to use haha.

10 minutes per elite spawn is about right in my opinion, any longer and it just becomes a drag hunting them.

Only Hoofmaster gets to use the word "demand" :D The elite respawn times are working nicely so we won't be changing them.
