Ideas for that time where Players wait for new content!

:arrow: Create an "Alien Worm-hole", where people can use energy to explore. Have creatures appear there, items, credits. That way, while you're finishing new game maps, people can still use energy to DO something besides sub-lvl... Special rewards for such explores can be new Elite / HK creatures to hunt, with different set-ups like only helmet + helmet add-on, DEF / ARM settings, stims....
:arrow: Bounty "Missions". How would it work? Use special "credits" to pick a target (could be a player or a creature): iIf it's a player, one kill could do, or defeat at least "x" times a creature. Rewards based on your lvl vs creature / player's lvl. Could take time to implement but would work too.....
:arrow: ALIEN INVASION EVENT In that other game, we have LEGENDARY events. Why not here have some strange visitors attempting to take control of SS2 world maps? There's no point in returning to previous maps, save by Taulin City for stims, but if these ALIEN INVASORS came and began attacking at different low lvl maps, that would mean we need to travel and fight them off... Again, items they grant, don't NEED to be equipment pieces, maybe ammo (more DMG whe used in type of weapon), shield blocks (like a mimick of Mental Strength but for ALL classes)....
:arrow: Finally, I understand role-play for Elite / HK sets, but as many players have said (me included), make those sets FEEL different! A small skill boost (+10 to any skill is a HUGE difference!), higher stats than CORE items (rewarding time and effort to create them instead of normal items in content) or anything in that line.
The first 3 would be perfect energy sinks for us, HIGH level players, bringing fun and stuff to do back to the game. What's your call?

no.... bounty system sux if it is like FS. Yes, if you actually have to hunt the person down.... no tickets to accept though as many people would waste a ton...:arrow: Bounty "Missions". Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the bounty idea, but I know those who live for Pvp would embrace this.:arrow: Bounty "Missions". How would it work? LOVE LOVE this idea ... I know I love my HK set and I know the effort of many to help me make it, but for all the difficulty to make I was surprised it didn't have stronger stats when you compare it to the other Elite sets. I also really like the idea someone else had on another thread of more/different stim blueprints. Make some higher level ones (level 50, level 75, level 100) it will give the players just starting out something to work forward to, and give an alternative for those of us up to do while we wait for more content release. :mrgreen:

We have all been trying to find a new name for LE events, this is it!!! Well done, A game mod needs to see this!

It's not just a PvP idea, maybe a PvE too.... Run to kill Elite creatures or Regular ones for some credits... Not too much of a reward in terms of Skill Points, but rather some additional credits granted! In any case, we've already brainstormed a lot about these things, we need someone from HCS to see them and give us some feedback.... :roll:

First time I've actually read the entire thread and she took the words right from my...fingertips I guess you could say.
Most of these ideas are good but I don't think PvP needs to be a big part of SS2 since it has nearly 'ruined' (for some people) Fallensword

More thoughts on different topics:
:arrow: Built in b-day present for players. A bound item granted (like intensifier cake) when in real life you become older.
:arrow: BUFF MARKET. Usable by people selling / looking for buffs (very much like Marketplace). How to prevent it from going wild? If buffing, a player selects "x" times the skill to be cast, listing disappears if not enough energy to cast it. If looking for buffs, you simply select the skill from listing and pay amount. Simple, easy, effective. Could also create credit sinks and other ways to generate income for players.
:arrow: ARTIFACTS. My thoughts on the subject and a way to create a difference between SS2 and "that other game", HCS places a special square in some random lvl maps. Instead of that place giving bonuses, Factions MUST work as a team to achieve objectives and unlock the powers it grants. Only by completing all objectives the bonuses are given and artifact ownership is lost when the next faction completes them. Example: To unlock "Sharona Altar", a faction needs to: Kill 4 Sharona HKs in a row, Have at least 1 player with an HK Hunter Silver medal and Give 10 Sharona Heads and 10 Alloy Encased Arms. Once completed, the artifact gives +10 ATT, DMG, DEF and ARM to all faction MBRS. (Bonuses can change, but with these mechanics, ARTIFACTS become quite unique).
