I've seen bite mution and port 1 stuff that in guides and auctions that are all the way into lvl 100 something. Do claw/tenticul mutions even being planned on existing in this game?

Mutants already have all the cool equipment they don't need more

Yeah we do have cool stuff but this wonderment goes past mutants. Like psionic missles, port 2 as a few examples. i'm just wondering if thoe higher equip skills would ever be used for all classes

Up until this point in the game, level 110, the best gear is certainly not the sets unless you don't care about the stats and enjoy the eye candy the sets provide... :(
Shame because most players already know this and don't even bother spending time, currency, and energy to get these nearly worthless sets...
I hope this changes soon or this game will remain boring with the already long content delays and nothing to spend energy on!

Two more...

Well from level 98-100 (Which is now) I switched factions and was forced to see the difference of a set with an all core item setup. The Noyce set was actually alot better than the core items I had that were all 95+ (Excluding the add-ons)

I'm not sure why this is but I could only go 20 entities with the core items when I could go 80 with the Noyce set. And I know the 97 to 98 entity growth wasn't great enough to throw that off. To prove my point sets are the best way to go in some situations and some they're not.

I just hit 100 today, got some new core items and now I'm up to 40 or so at a time. Just fluxuates with different levels I guess

Since the skill points required for items like that are slowly getting higher, once they hit 110 or so HCS will move on to the next skill.

You never know what the Cows will require for skill points... but yes they are moving on to the next tier of skill point requirements. Funny how they make you have a minimum in the prior skill that is not as much as what the last piece requires. Therefore you need to use even more skill points.

The class sets are less and less desirable to use with such terrible bonuses and so many wasted skill points :( Please change this HCS...

And to the poster that mentioned the Noyce(90) set as being so wonderful: You probably didn't know it but resistances will make a difference in how long you can go before repairing. Just a guess. I never used that set because it was SO inferior to other rare/invented gear...

Another two :)

actually, Noyce was a one of the better set available for borgs. much better than 100/110 armor set. 100 hephtus set is decent as well for borgs, but HK add ons are even better for my style of playing.

In terms of mob/run, it really depends upon mob and its stat. generally, I really find that you are best off using core stuff for amor set while using class stuff is ok for weapons/addons(except EN-KR5 is still the best weapon add on except for lower durability but HK one is equavalent)

Actually somewhere in that 97-99 areat it does get easier. i remember going from about 15-20 1hits to getting so many i was repairing early out of habit.
On the other note yes the sets are horrible. and the extra class items are getting worse and worse as well. unless you are a borg you are very upset with these sets. i mean yeah with the borgs if you spend 220 of your points on augmentation and the other skill you get 11% damage and attack for all 6 pieces you are wearing. The rest of us are wearing full core gear for the most part.

And i would be glad the day we see some claw mutations or w/e. even tho now i wont buy any unless they got wicked stats.
