And you should feel lucky since you don't have to pay 20 FC just to create a faction (like the "other game")

Why are people asking to make the game easier? There are two things and two things only that should be suggested
1)How to make the game more difficult and more time consuming
2)How to make SS2 a wider fan-based game with more things to do
I 'd change "1" to : How to make the game more enjoyable to players with wide range of playing styles and how to make the time spent on the game more fun.

I 'd change "1" to : How to make the game more enjoyable to players with wide range of playing styles and how to make the time spent on the game more fun.
That could be an add-on to the first option but SS2 isn't as difficult as people think and definitely doesn't take that long to become a good player. I just really hate seeing the top 10 players reach the content cap within 2 hours of its release and all the release hype being diminished the next day

BUT, making the game *more difficult* is not going to solve every issue you comment on, from PvP to elite sets, from Behemoths to building factions.. I mean come on, give the new players a chance.. Plus, if you actually read the forums, which I believe you do thoroughly too, you'll realise how many ppl still don't get the idea of the mechanic, or why they die after losing durability, or even what the energy system is for etc..
so please dont tell me it isnt THAT hard to get a hang of the game mechanics, much less become a good player.. no one has to be as smart as you guys or know FS or other similar games which would help you adapt to SS2.
So, once again, i agree with you.. we should have more stuff to do, and have more fun.. and we need more active players as you said..
making the game more difficult will not help with either of these issues just hinder them in my opinion.. i think ur being too cruel, on all of us, for asking for a harder game.
and about the factions, i don't know exactly which upgrades the faction starts off with.. and these upgrades may value up to 1000 FC but it will not be the same as 100 FC you can use on any upgrade you want.. giving the chance/FC to choose the upgrade that u'll make use of the most in ur faction is very encouraging for the founders of a new faction i think.. and is better than giving the upgrades as they are, which can very easily be taken for granted.
