I'd like to see some of the classic sigma storm suggestions that were overlooked for years have a shot at coming to throughision and HCS programmers disregarding any Fallen Sword suggestions. I mean, Sigma was here 2 years before FS was.
What Sigma Suggestions were these?

I think Grim is asking in regards to Sigma Classic Suggestions, not Sigmastorm 2 Suggestions as yes we do have enough of those. The people who are currently working on Sigmastorm 2 came along years after Sigmastorm 1 was released and have very little or no experience with it.

Some of the 'fixes' were certainly not necessary, as they weren't broken in the first place. Slowly however this game is being turned into "Fallen Sword, the sci-fi version", which is obviously the part we do not like about it. SS2 used to be a challenge, which had it's own charm the way it was set up and an identity of it's own. This a large amount of players now feel is lost.

Actually, they were necessary. The game was bleeding players as the game was too hard and too frustrating. The team now only consists of myself, Varkaz and Zaelin. So we needed to cut down on work. By doing the streamlining we have done in-game, it makes the workload in the future more manageable. This is all for the good of the game, whether you agree with it or not.

I was staying out of this but... There was more than one choice for how to simplify the workload. There was more than one choice for how to retain players.

We are doing our best to make the game less frustrating, more accessible and thus increasing the player base which will ultimately increase enjoyment for all of you. I have heard of people playing Sigma while at the same time logging onto Sword just to talk because there are more people to chat too. More players means more life to the game and more people will stick around.
Also while we seem to be removing the frustration and difficulty in some parts of the game we can always add it back in new game features to challenge those who wish them. It's the good thing about games like this.

The other half of the question is why were they logging into SS2? Will these changes change THAT decision....
It seems to be a done deal - but not recognizing that there were other paths isn't fair to the critique.

I also wasn't around during the Sigma Classic days... My question wasn't trying to be sarcastic. Anyone can read whatever they want into it.
I think most opinions in the forum follow not wanting to see Sigma become a regurgitated Sword. Sadly, imo, it's creeping closer and closer.I'd like to see some of the classic sigma storm suggestions that were overlooked for years have a shot at coming to throughision and HCS programmers disregarding any Fallen Sword suggestions. So, do you happen to have any of those old Sigma suggestions to hand?

Congratz on the longest sentence in SS2 history!
I wasn't talking about Sigmastorm2 vs Sigmastorm2 a year ago. I was talking about SigmaStorm vs. SigmaStorm2.
For the redorc, it was 2 sentences
And yes, this game has become sword-ified...however, I think that it is a healthier game than it was a year ago, although the changes made the game less fun for me personally.
