can we get special events

fs has stuff like le events can we get a ss2 version or something like content that only lasts for a week similar to fs .Now im not saying make the same thing but a ss2 version of these i think imo would be a nice change to things

if this sort of thing happens already plaese do forgive me im not as active on here

We had "Christmas content" which should cycle back through in a few months. More of such would be appreciated but it seems to have to come at the expense of regular content atm.

Any ideas that come from FS gets a big NO from me, I don't want this game to become FS2

We are thinking about what kind of events we can have in the game.

We would like to have unique things that dont relater to the other games. Have you any ideas ?

You could use the "invasion" theme (that part isn't original but there's only so many options). But, why not have it be very specific....

So, you could have ... say a toxic eruption. In several realms there are mobs (rad types obviously) that spread out and drop a series of Rad items (add-ons and weapons mostly I guess). I would recommend that they be monster blueprints that require factionwide work to construct the items (So, maybe a 2 or 3 part construction with 15 or so components needed to make the intermediary part and a bunch of those required for the final product). Maybe 1 item every 30-50 levels at MOST. You could even have a need for resources from EACH mob to make each piece

So maybe:

Level 30 weapon requires 3 pieces made from 12-15 components each from a level 30 mob.
Level 80 add-on requires 3 pieces made from combination of level 30 and level 80 mob.
etc....

There could then be ... a virus that spawns cybernetic invaders that do the same for hardwired sets.

You get the idea.

It's not all that different than a standard LE - but each wave would only benefit one class and require teamwork to get the pieces.

I guess this brings faction missions into play too. I don't see any reason some faction missions couldn't be incorporated into this.

Maybe some rare random spawns of gifts like a special item or stim, which you would see in the entity list and the attack entity button would be replaced with claim item.

Not precisely a special event, but why not introduce the mechs you once previewed? Maybe introduce them as a new Faction structure that needs resources deposited in faction store to activate and grant skills for all faction members in a short amount of time, destroying the resources needed when activated and limiting to only one skill pack activated at any given time. Example:
:arrow: Expert Investigation. Casts Researcher & Data Processor 300 when activated, lasts 12 hours. Cost to activate: 20x different Elite resource drops in faction store.
:arrow: Mobility Packs. Casts Traverse & Entity Seeker 300, same duration as above. Cost to activate: Have 10x Mk3 stims in faction store.
Those are just a couple ideas for skill packs, any others could do. I chose those 4 because except for Entity Seeker, the rest aren't available in a regular stim.

I think alien invasion theme would be the best. TIU has called for all hands defence of the SIGMA.

drops could be a component to make rare stims (higher doubler being possibility) or you need 10 component blueprint for items. (could be any but weapon or addon would be cool) have the drop be fairly rare, so if takes about 800-1k of energy to do each mission. (may limit to MF or FI type drops) With the item, you need to kill the boss which would make it into "legendary" item (1 per person max, so no farming) (figure 4 every 10 min, or 24/hr, means 1500 over the weekend, so anyone can do it) lets say mission at lvl 10, 90, 170 and 260 for 4 mission. to further limit the legendary item to 1/person, make it so that you need lvl 10 item as base for lvl 90, lvl 90 is base for 170 and so on. (with corresponding loss of crafting/forging during rebirth) items. just make it so that you need about 3k energy to do all 4 mission and anyone could do it if they don't waste any energy, or people in faction can share the load. (some do the lower and pass it on to higher)

This has been mentioned before but I haven't seen any feedback on it from the devs.. How about incorporating Faction Missions into some kind of random event? Maybe once a month for a weekend a special world opens up and as a faction you work through a mission together... each month you can add another area to the world with another step in the story line and the mission.

Just an idea.
