After you meet the Prince, you tell him you were a Soldier (Templar or Warrior), Archer (Ranger), or Wizard (mage or prophet).  This leaves one talent tree empty, the Assassin.  I know that you're working on getting the Assassin new gear and stuff, but I got an idea to help (you probably already thought of it maybe.

You can tell the Prince you were an Assassin before you got amnesia.  An extra reward would be the Dagger of Embers, but i guess you could just use the axe too?  Anyways, after that you're told to join either the Mages or Army.  Now the Assassin imho really doesn't fit into either of those.  So I thought why not have an Assassin's Guild, or Thieves' Den.  The Prince doesn't tell you to join them, however after you kill the dragon, he has you thrown out of his castle, where an assassin/thief meets you and invites you to join thier order.  Most of thier quests rely on scouting, assassination, thievery, and sabotage.  It would be a fun quest line, I like both the army and the mages quest lines, but the assassin could use it's own.  Of course, anyone would be able to join, just like the army and mages.

I like this idea! Could be a potential way for people to play through on the other side of things! Maybe have quests where you help the seedier side like the crimson maccabre or whatever?

I also had an idea for a Hunter's Den, where you basically just run around hunting various named and one of a kind creatures and collect trophies :)  (for ranger talent tree)  But they can do the army one, since the army does use archers.

I like this idea as well, although it seems like too much of an elder scrolls knock off.

I agree, it sounds like it'd be an elder scrolls knock off, however, if they do come up with an original name for an area, such as a tavern, or a cave, it'd be a good idea. It could be named something like.. "Cave of Shadows" Or something similar to that, or, "Sleeping poison tavern," I'm not really good at naming things, just trying to brainstorm. I propose there should be requirements to get in, such as having  a certain amount of talent points allocated into the assassin tree based on your level. This should be with the army, and mage questlines as well, but of course, in different skill trees.

Im pretty sure they have thought of this already. Looking at a quest called A Study In Blood which pretty much sets you towards the Assassin build. That tho is the only quest I've seen that is Assassin-like. But it was intresting and different.

Im also pretty sure it has been suggested before, at a very early stage, could have been forgotten already.

If I understand this correctly, you're asking HCS to set up a whole area of the game, with a quest line and a special meeting place, to benefit a single class?  I don't see anything like that happening, until the game is a huge success and they can afford to double their staff.

Essentially adding another parallel story line, to play along with army and arcane, doesn't seem to add much.  The two already have a lot of overlap, I don't see any real benefit to adding a third.

I love the idea of class specific quests etc.  But HCS has limited resources, and so needs to spend them where they will have the greatest impact on the greatest number of players.

While we don't have a story line exclusive to assassins, you actually meet the "Ring of Shadows" at level 36, they are the assassin / mercenaries of the kingdom, hired by Eldevin to do the dirty work. They also will have a very cool vanity set to collect.
