CAn we have it so that when we off the broswer we automatically logs off. For i am sure so many people will only off the internet broswer than log off. And this MIGHT create lag. So can we chnge it.

And also can u guys sent a message to each and every player asking them to click on a link to reactivate thier accounts. And if they dont do this in 1 month there character will be deleted. So then the we can see the true number of poeple playing the games.

I like the second idea. On free games like this, all the good usernames is taken. But if we could delete the profiles not used, it would solve this problem. :)

For now! :P

I suggested the log off option before, but got no response. Most text games make you log off (Earth 2025). I assume they do this to save server load. If you log off and stay off for 12 or 18 hours, they actually give you a bonus. Then people might not log on and stay on all day. I assume people log on, chat and use server space, and don't even play stamina now. An incentive to stay logged off, might help.

One idea is for stamina to fully refresh after a set period of being Logged off (this would also increase the number of players increasing thier max stamina, and therefore, theoretically, increase the number of donations the game gets)

that's already in place.
the formula used is (max stam/stamina gain) X 1 hour

Being logged on or off won't change anything. This kind of game (browser based) doesn't consume server CPU resources unless pages are being served and the databases are being queried. This is not a real-time game, not a client-server type application, so even though it may be true in graphic games that require a downloaded front-end, it does not apply to browser-based games.

Any ideas to reduce server load or lag, would have to do with page loading, the amount of content in each page... things like that.

The database could take up more server resources when tables become overly bulky or have too much overhead, so the second suggestion is along the lines of improving this sort of game's performance to some extent. I would like to see some sort of cleanup of inactive accounts, but there are many risks of having it overly simplified. I think it should take into account time invested by higher-leveled characters/players, how much money or FSP they've invested while they were playing, etc... I'd hate to be in the military, invest over $100 or more on FSP, then lose my account if I get sent on a 3 month deployment or longer. Most of the truly unplayed accounts would be under levels 2-10... Maybe a few sitting around at about level 15 who left when Frost Dragon sets were introduced or when the Bounty system started.

I like the second idea. On free games like this, all the good usernames is taken. But if we could delete the profiles not used, it would solve this problem. :)

For now! :P

I don't think that would be a good idea... Could you imagine how many people would likely abuse that by finding known or well-respected past players and taking their names in order to scam or impersonate?
