It's never too early to start looking at guilds. Look on the Guilds page and just go through them and look at their stats. Which guilds best support the direction you want to take your character?

Read the forums and see how the different guilds interact with other people. See if it appears to be a close knit guild or not. Is it an active guild or pretty quiet?

Decide if you want to e in an already established guild, which has it's ammenities already for you, or a newer one that is just now building ground up. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. :)

Let people get to know you though, and don't be afraid to turn down guild offers that don't suit your needs. :)

Good advice from the above poster. I joined my Guild at lvl 13 at which time I was thinking the same as you (what to look for in a Guild). A lot also depends on your playing style and whether you are active or not. If you plan on being active (I log in at least three or four times a day) then look for a Guild with some established structures that can really help you level fast. If you're just chillin' and enjoyin' the game only once in awhile when you have time--not so important to find an established Guild.

Some established and well-ranked guilds may be willing to take a chance to give new players an opportunity to experience being guilded as well as to help them learn some tricks of the game. In my opinion, if we give a new player a chance, the appreciate the oportunity and it grows into mutual loyalty between a guild and it's members.

If you agree, you have an invitation awaiting.
