i disagree about the defence bonus as it stands there is a possibility of a larger guild having a 52 person group at this point just changed today for attack (hoof i think 25 was quite enough but that is just me) and most guilds dont even have that many members so its not fair to defenders to not have a bonus when they controll just one relic but when you try to hoard you get no bonus.


But, with my idea you can only have as many people defending as you have upgraded your "Max Relic Defender" upgrade to. Would make for a big incentive for guilds to maximize their group/relic defending upgrades to maximize relic steal/defending abilities.

Keep in mind that the guild would have to distribute it's best players amongst the guild relics(1 person cannot defend more than 1 relic). Unless a guild put all of it's best players onto 1 relic(which mean couldn't defend other relics) it wouldn't be impossible to steal a relic with the right group.

This would make it very tactical for guilds to decide how to distribute their defensive powers.

Altho, i think for this reason, perhaps the max group size should be reduced to 20-25 or so(same as relic defend cap) to keep it from getting too out of control.

Kage my point was that even with bonus and groups of 25 ppl its going to be hard for someone to protect 1 relic because they dont have manpower

I was not worried about being able to take over a relic :)

and with 50 ppl to a group means half of your guild is comming after a relic and if i got a guild of 30 members how am i spposed to hold a relic without a defencive bonus.

and there should be no limit to how many players defend a relic but they have to be at the spot. (see suggestions above)

Hoof please make max of 20 for groupmembers and implement other changes i have proposed and you will have a balanced system.

not crazy at all for the defensive bonuses penalties for owning more than 1. It's not fun for most of the guild to be unable to participate in relic taking because the guild has decided to focus on 1 for the bonus.

As mentioned aboved.... I've come to the conclusion that it will be moreless IMPOSSIBLE to defend these relics when a guild can builda group of 50 people with upgrades. No way guilds will have that many players in a given area to possible portect versus such a force that doesn't need to assemble.

I still say if groups don't have to assemble, to make Relic Defedning Group assemble...

NEW IDEA!!!!

New page on guild tab for "Relic Defending" in which you can assemble groups the same was as normal groups to defend. Like normal groups, the other members don't need to be present.

In addition.... You could add an additional bonus to OTHER members actually in the square(add 50% of stats instead of normal).

exelent changes hoof now enable teleporting to and from the relics ppl own to save walking time and we are set make it worth 50stamina to get to relic and 50 to go to desired hunting area

I really like the recent revisions to the relic system from their original implementation. Just wanted to to put that in there since we haven't seen much player feedback since the changes were implemented.

i still think that defending groups should work a lot like attacking ones..
we took over 2 relics a while ago... hit both of them for over 500 damage, neither had over 100 hp.
and that was in groups of 4 and the leader lol

see even sofke agrees with me teleport to the relic and teleport back 25-50 stamina each way hoof is all we ask :)

leave the attacking as is just allow defenders to teleport to and from the relic they defending (i hate walking)

but that still has the problem of having to sit on the relic and not do anything until u stop defending...

no what it would mean is that when you done using your stamina for the day you would teleport to defend your relic and then when you got stamina again teleport back to your desired hunting area to hunt
yes it would be harder then just hunting and would cost stamina but it would be easiere then to run back and fourth

Under character preferences there's a button to instantly portal back to krul island, why not just add buttons there to teleport to the relics you control and then if you don't move off the relic square, you can teleport back to your last known position. It would save everyone time, stamina, and long boring walks through various realms.

Gooooooooo idea!!! but the point 2, that the members of the group which attacks the relic should be in the same tile, it's absurd
