i think it will improve a lot the system. but you should put also portals in the areas that the relics are so people who teleport will be able to go back where they came from.


Thats not a bad idea - maybe if you don't move from the relic, you can go back to your previous location. If you do move, then you need to go back the old fashioned way (ie. walk :) )


mmm, i agree with this, if you go to help a friend who is defending a relic and stay there all night while your stamina regain, you should be able to return back to your original place for training. 8)

These are some pretty big changes. Its just my oppinion but shouldn't this relic thing be completely thought out BEFORE it is implemented? Instead of implementing it and then making drastic changes or add ons? I just don't understand why it would be put into play with the possibility of being totally revamped.

Believe me, they are listening. I have more then once thought I was ignored only to see some variation of a suggestion come back a few weeks or months later.

all these guys want is to benefit i want parody and equality. room for every guild to have apiece and if u want the relics to be in play make a true raid system with war declararions and such. this is tit for tat with upper guild. also make the relics with compounded stats nnot with all powerfull stats make it like the sets of armor

conversation about the percentages involves which group of guilds ? ?? hmmmmm

cant see any other lower ranked guilds

ahh sod it i'm gonna play dungeon siege 2 i'll come back in a week and see how many other benefits we cant have

i disagree on that one willy i'm afraid the guild wars idea was pulled cuz it was a bad idea whats the point having guild fights if we've got PVP anyway like i said some posts back this is becoming more of a pvp than and rpg game

Hi all,

We've been listening to feedback from you all and we now propose the following adjustments to the relic system.

1) Add a cooldown of 'x' hours to the relic, so once it is captures its safe for 'x' hours from capture.

2) Players in a group attempting capture must also all be on the same square as the relic (group members not at the location will not get the 20% bonus applied to the group).

3) Add an option in the guild management page to allow teleportation to any of your captured relics for easier defense.

4) Add a relic list, showing the current ownerships and cooldown times remaining.

Please post below your thoughts on the changes proposed :)

I absolutly love these changes. It will make relics much more interesting. I am certainly sppreciative you've listened to everyones concerns as taking and losing a relic 50 times in one day got tiresome...

and to think i have spent an ungodly sum of money to play this free online game only to be allienated bay relics that r unattainable or we r unable tokeep. makes me mad to think because i only spent 30 on guild wars lol

i think this system is only benificial to the top few guilds there is nothing stopping them from reaping all of the relics


Please suggest then how you feel we should change it if you don't agree.


Seems rather simple. Instead of allowing upgrades for multiple relics. Just have a maximum number a guild can control. This way many guilds will have the ability to get a relic. The real battle will be over who controls the "good ones" hehe

i see this as an alternative way for guild wars/guild raids.. hoof said they will forget about the raids but what came out happens to be the relic system.. we did ask for an opt out and i'm happy to see we have an opt out.. just don't try to capture anything and ur fine. so if this is an alternative for guild raids idea then leave it as it is i don't care coz we probably (as a guild) will never ever have a relic to hold on to lol.
Before anything is implemented that involves GvG there should be serious thinking about guild base structure.. guilds should be able to have allies, enemies and could manage their members without any of the harwork we are putting now.. that is actually the real problem here.. i don't have anything to say about relics.. haven't seen one, haven't attacked one... and i'm perfectly happy as it is :-)

I think you guys need to look at what the majority want.... a fair game with a fair system !

Isn't fair, when the person that invests/works the hardest wins? Pretty sure that means TDS should have the most because they have invested the most.

this is the lack of parody u created a war system would have been better that this relics that get hoarded up by few and the many suffer sound like russia before the cold war ended

u sit in ur tree house and look down on us ground pounders flailing around at straws we can never have if i was blcak this would be a civil rights violation lol rodney king forever cant we all get a relic

1. make relics appear randomly and have random good/bad effects.
2. make them level based, ie if its in a lvl 20 realm then only lvl 20 and below can capture and defend the relic
3. no portals or teleports to relics - if u really want it that bad work for it.
4. must have minmum one defender of the appropriate lvl and can only defend in group if the defender is on the relic up to max of 5. same goes for the attacking squad. these are relics -- work for it.
5. no guild can hold more than 2 at a time.
6. have a time limit on how long a guild can hold the relic. when the timer is up it disappears to another location with different effects.
7. the leading defender gets the full stat bonus from the relic then it decreases with each additional defender ie
1 defender =100%
1+1 defender = 80%
1+2 defender = 60%
1+3 defender = 40%
1+4 defender= 20%
8. like the structures we currently have, its cost us gold to upkeep. So while holding a relic it should cost the guild xp to keep. The higher the lvl relic the more xp it cost to upkeep per hour.

Just my two cents.


I am very much against anything that is level based(#2)

What is the point of being level 100 or more if you can't help out the smaller people in your guild? When you talk about fairness keep in mind that for me at least, I have spent more rl cash then anyone below level 85ish....how is it fair to me who has spend far more time in the game and spent far more money to have someone come along and put in a bunch of communist level playing field rules. Work hard and get to the top yourself and then it will be fair.

easy to say sux to be u when u r lvl 1000 or whatever and ur allies r lvl 1000 too but some of us have to wrestle the relics away from them and will take years to do it lol is that fair i think not

You started like what a week after me? I am level 90 and you aren't. why is that? Why should I be penalized for supporting the game more then you?

FYI, look at my guild. Do you see anyone else even close to my level? What do you think the chances are that i am going to get to enjoy the benifit of actually using one of these relics? NONE, but I want to support the people in my guild and you think I should be punished?
