Not really sure how this one work, but got it anyhow.

BoW says that it gives you and extra +20% GP that a critter is carrying when you kill it, but I ran across a bandit, and it stole around 100 GP from me. I check it, and it had 102 GP on it. I killed it. And instead of giving me 122 GP, I only got the 102.

Not sure if this is a bug or not either. Feedback please?

I believe the 20% is rounded down. So 20% of 2 is .4 and rounded down is zero.

Umm.... yeah, but 20% of 100 is 20... and I only got 102 GP/102 GP the bandit was carrying, INSTEAD of the 122 GP that I should have gotten due to the gold collector skill.

I think I've noticed this before. I would find it odd that Hoof would allow a creature to steal from you and then you kill it and get extra back (it would be an easy way to make a whole lot of money - ie. take 100,000,000 gp onto as many thieving creatures as necessary, then kill the one that takes some money (not difficult given it only needs to be a bandit) then receive 120,000,000 gp back - OK, they dont steal the whole lot, but you can see the principal). At the same time, I would guess it might not be so easy to code (but I aint a coder, so it might be easier than me typing this).

It might be a bug, but I hope not, otherwise if it worked as it should, its easy money. If it is a bug, it shouldnt be fixed, at least not in the way you described.

it stole around 100 GP from me

Nukleardog's math seems correct.

I would REALLY love to know how 20% of 102 is 0 :?

Because it would be using the *original* value (2 gp), Not the total amount after being stolen (102 gp), else as Fraxon pointed out, there would be major room for exploitation going on... ;)
