This would also bring an end to bounty systems and encourage people to create 2nd characters so that they can get their pvp rating up high enough.
You can already view players before you attack them, so can see when they last played and how strong they are.
With regards to
about that saying bad things about the game is stupid. its called customer complaints where its good for the customers to make changes about things they don't like. it makes the game better
As I said in pm, what you were doing was not constructive. It was not helpful to the gaming community and was causing disruption.
However, this thread IS helpful.

" i no kill u , you no kill me or bounty time "
a small player history would be good

I think Azrail has a point that for the very earliest levels, pvp may be a real deterent to newbies, particularly if they have not played a mmorpg before; perhaps a yes/no button at those levels would be a good idea?

This is a good point beginning levels get slammed by pvpers.
Easy fix not Pvp to or from players level 1-9
Disabled guild option to and from the same levels 1-9
At level 10 they should have a good idea how game play is. Then can choose a future.
If the guild option is disabled for level 1-9, there will be even more players deciding to leave.

I'm interested to know why you think that. I didn't miss being in a guild at those levels ('ard as nails guv'nor, 'ard as nails.. an' a wrong 'un!) what are the attractions other than to offer some protection from PVP / encourage PVP?

Not all low level players can make it by themselves. Often it takes an understanding guild or a little bit of guidance to get through the lower levels.
Guilds can offer items (passed down from higher levels), sharing of buffs and a boost to stats from structures.

Fairy 'nuff, I can see the logic to that.
How about new guilds are ok but not enormous existing guilds with gigantic... ahem... enhancement bonuses?

I could add a flag possibly to show if the players enjoys pvp or not ?

this would only result in me attacking everybody with a flag that sais"i hate pvp"

'however i think before level 9 there shouldn't be pvp for players' - Azrail
I think Azrail has a point that for the very earliest levels, pvp may be a real deterent to newbies, particularly if they have not played a mmorpg before; perhaps a yes/no button at those levels would be a good idea?
True. When I first started, it was because a friend asked me to try it out and gave his recruiting link. As soon as I logged in, I was attacked and defeated by a few fully geared level 5 guys, 4 times, in less than the first 30 seconds. I decided that wasn't the sort of game I'd be interested in and went back to what I was doing in the other game (it's a different HCS game called Solar Fleet).
Fortunately, I ran into the same friend the next day and he explained what the game was about and that I should just ignore the attackers at first so I could level up quicker and get even, so I gave it another try.
I think that if PvP were not permitted for the first 10 levels, we'd likely have more than twice as many active players now and perhaps double the number of people who would be willing to make support purchases.

This might be a good idea. Diablo 2 has a similar cap on the amount of gold you can carry and store based on level. And to borrow a term form Guild Wars... we could call level 10 'ascended' and therefore able to pvp and have unlimited storage for gold on person and in bank.i think what hoof could do is set max gold cap for low lvl members, maybe 30K gold?
On the topic of no pvp before level 10, I have to agree with the majority that it would only draw more players to the game versus turn more away.
