Hey guys, I'm relatively new around here and this may be a stupid question since I didn't turn up much concerning it doing a search. Can you tell me why I get the message "You can not undertake bounties on members of your own guild." when I try to accept a bounty?

I finally managed to gain a FSP from the Auction House and I figured I'd buy bounty tickets in order to gain more FSP undertaking bounties. Maybe not the most honorable course of action but it seemed reasonable at the time. Anyway, it's not going so well thus far. Any thoughts?

The only other thing I can think of is that I don't belong to any guilds (that's a whole other question I have for later). Could that have something to do with it? Anybody? :?

Hey there, I do not know why you get that message, especialy if you are not in a guild, as far as I know you do not need to be in a guild to be able to accept a bounty. Info on bounty hunting and being bounty hunted you can find at http://fallensword.c...utorial#actions reading up on this might be smart if you plan to do some bounty hunting yourself, so you know about the risks and you do not find yourself back at level 1 wondering how and why.......

Good advice, I'll check that out. As for the error, I guess I'll (selectively) try another and see how it goes. Thanks for the response!

Seems to be a quirk when:

1. You are not in a guild and
2. You attempt to take a bounty on an inactive account

Once I joined a guild, I could take the bounty I wanted to try but, since it was an inactive account (I didn't catch that originally), I received a message stating as much and my bounty ticket was returned.

sounded good, so went back and tried some again while paying attention to whether or not the account is active. i still get the same results, but ONLY on accounts that are under lvl. 10. over 10 and i can accept them. are we all considered in a "newbie guild" until that point?
