No, really, I'm serious. (Okay... I wasn't when I thought of it first, but then I kept thinking.... :wink: ) You have a chance of finding the guardian of the forge and have to defeat it first; if you do, you get an extra bonus on your item—say, a 30-50% enhancement that wasn't there previously. Working out the level of the Hell Frog might be a bit tricky, but you could always be given a "run away" option. (Which, in turn, might guarantee that the Frog would always be at the Forge whenever you returned—at least if you try the same item. Different items would have their own separate chances, so you wouldn't be prevented from using it altogether.)
Yeah, it's silly—even if it's potentially cool, too—but there's nothing wrong with a little silly in the game, right?

We're planning to make the changed based on the these suggestions next week.
Wow! So much activity! Twenty levels of new realms and creatures, a mega-legendary event, new skills coming out and a revamped hell-forge - all within the space of a week or so! And let's not forget the new international offers...

Mine's crafted nearly perfect (2 items 1 pt from perfect, 2 perfect), and I will forge it if the new system seems worthwhile, I just can't wear it for 30 lvls... maybe i'll let seath try it on just to get a screen shot

i havent read the entire 14 pages, but may i suggest that FSP hell forged be 50% refundable, and gold hell forged be not refundable. also the increase in stat, i would recommend percentage, like 5% of base stat of the item per hellforge, total of 25% per hellforge.
This is basically what they are doing, though when the new system is implemented, you won't be able to get yours fsps back, so if you want them, extract flame soon.
And for percentages, it will be something like that, though I doubt it'll be that high. The initial system was 2% per lvl for a total of 10% and they changed that very early on cause it was too high. So anyway.... enough speculation on my part, I'll wait to see what they do this time around....

Could you point towards the page where they say that?
I was under the impression forged items would be given a full refund, as per the original post:
The proposed changes would include taking the game down for a short period of time and "unforging all items" and returning any spent FSP to their owner.

A majority agreed not to return fsps, so if they do take our suggestions to heart, that's my assumption. I could very well be wrong, so it would need clarification. I don't have any forged items at the moment, so I don't really care, but the people who do might. So hopefully they can get that cleared up beforehand as I'm sure someone would complain afterward.
