I think It'd be awesome if we got an added amount of xp for special types of hits, for an example:

If you deliver a piercing strike you get +25% xp
If you deliver a critical hit you get +50% xp
If you deliver a piercing strike + Critical hit you get +100% xp

How do you guys like this idea? my last few ideas haven't been too popular :P

I say no, mostly because people level up fast enough as the game is now. I don't really think we need any more ways to gain exp.

well in real life, when you do something harder, or more rare, you gain more of an experience from it.

Generally it might be a more memorable experience, but you don't gain anything for getting a critical hit on a nail with a hammer, nor do you get any better meat when downing a stag with a perfect shot. You might look fondly on those memories...but that's about it.

It's a bit much with AL, EH, LIB and 4X doubler running around. Good intentions though but not feasible since its just random luck.

already have EH, AL, LIB, Doubler, enough xp bonuses already, try and go back to the time when all you had was AL

In my area I kill the monsters with 2 hit, with Critical hit 1 hit enough. The reward is this.
As XeononyX said its just random luck. Why would you get extra rewards for your random luck?

Here's how I see it...it would work if it was seperated from critical strike or piercing strike...make it it's own thing...like Cool XP Gaining Strike...and give it a percentage just like cs and ps have...

For those of you that say no because it's luck I'm guessing you don't ever use Lib because that's a percentage chance to gain xp too...so it's the same dang thing...

Gargh you beat me to it Thrender. I was about to suggest something like that as well. Possibly this 'gaining strike' could give extra exp based up how much damage over the creatures life you hit, divided by a certain number. Heck, you could probably turn this into a high level skill instead of an item buff if you wanted to.

I dont like this idea at all and here's why

Fast XP gain = more people at higher levels

More people at higher levels = more gold circulation

More gold circulation = Higher FSP Prices

Why should those that already have an attack advantage have the ability to gain more XP? The feature is already kind of there with elite hunter since most complete sets already have either critical hit or piercing strike. All this will do is make those particular weapons more valuable and therefore more expensive, which is all the more reason for more people to leave the game.

Ah but think ahead fuzzy if the higher lvs gain xp quicker so do we this would effect all of us not just them so we can afford more quicker but so can they so say they can afford FSP for 20k more then they currently can then so can we and once we can afford it for 100k The cap will hopefully not move so sooner or later more people can afford and more people can afford. But then there is not enough to go around cause everyone can buy then there will have to be another way of making FSP/so on and so forth but I still like the idea for a buff that does it.
