No for two reasons:
1. Why create a solution to a problem that already has several solutions? Your concern is losing gold to PvP attacks that occur right after you have sold an item for a massive amount of gold on AH. There are already several solutions to this that other players mentioned in your original thread.
- Be online when your auction is about to end.
- Sell your item for an equivalent amount of FSP instead of gold.
- Send your gold to a trusted friend as soon as it is credited (you need to have another tab ready to send it ASAP).
- And most effective of all, wear defensive gear whenever you're expecting to hold a large amount of gold. It doesn't make you immune to attack, but it forces potential attackers to adjust their gear, get DC, etc. which takes time and investment on their part, and in the meantime you can convert your cash into FSP or deposit it, or send it to someone for safekeeping.
That's four easy ways to prevent this problem from happening. There may be more that I've missed. So why should we implement yet another?
2. As Krypkill (I think) said in the original thread - we don't want to nerf PvP anymore than it has already been nerfed. Players should always be rewarded for using their wits and playing smart, and scouting the AH for careless targets (yes I'm calling you careless, sorry but it's true) counts as a valid, smart strategy in my book.
Like I said the only way to really get rid of this problem for good is to make the AH anonymous like the MP, but I don't want that - I want the opposite; the MP should be transparent like the AH!

@ Spidey101: lol.
@ tikabalang: sometimes people do have things to do in life and can't always be there when an auction ends. I do agree with what you say about the rest though.
@ Senretsu: Right now it's too early for me to think of a variation on your suggestion, because as it is, it limits the pvp too much. Could there perhaps be an option (fsp upgrade) to put say 5% (a low percentage, feel free to change the numbers as you will) of the incoming gold into the bank (completely open to abuse so please, someone think of a way to edit this), or put say 25% of gold income from the auction house into a gold mailbox or something. That way 75% of the gold will still be open to attack, but you won't lose anything.
