A small idea i have that might be handy for guildbosses.

In my opinion there should be an option in the guild for giving warnings.
Example: Every guild has its own rules. Now when there are members not keeping to that rule, but also not THAT important to be kicked, they can be given a warning. You can then see that if there's a red dot behind his name (for example) in guild manage name but can also only been seen by guildmembers. Now when the 3rd warning is being activated, then you get kicked. So you can choose between kick member or warn member. What's your opinion on this??

Try DEMONING the member who broke the rule. Problem solved.

Did you know that there are likely over 2000 rouge black holes in our galaxy alone. Each of them can reach very high speeds, even in space terms, are each capable of destroying anything in their path, and are invisible. Well, goodnight!

Well! As I always admit, people need 2nd chance. So this is a real good idea to make some newbies aware of what they should and shouldn't do.
But I will believe this should be optional, as some guild do need 0 tolerants policy to keep them ahead. ^^

Love the idea:

My ideas on modification of the idea:

A) Make it to where dots can be seen only by members that a guild officer selects. Basically, I think this should be to limit who IN the guild can see it. Not everyone needs to know about everyone else's problems.

B) If the above is implemented (and if it weren't too much work) that dot would obviously have to be seen by the person being held accountable for the dot.

C) Maybe tie this into the discussion on the forums and have a "good boy" rewards for people that are always being exemplary within the guild. Again, this can be controlled by the guild as far as what meets this criteria. Upon gaining three dots, that person gets some sort of guild services medal. To avoid abuse of this, make it to where a player can't get more than say 2 medals every three months. Or limit it even further and allow only a certain number of medals to be given out within a month period by the guild.

I like it, and I would also like to see an area or page devoted to guild rules so all can see in game

as my old guild i was one of the ones who was responsible for this. i just made a post in our forums which said: playerx-date/of/offense,offense (warning:###)

but yes this is a very good idea.

to gothicdan: agreed we could do it that way, but this streamlines the game even more. Which also goes into the rules. Annima, I agree, that is another thing (like the dots) that would have to be A) Only visible to the guild B) [Sounds like you are saying and I agree] that the rules page should be customizable by guild.

Yep, the person in charge of ranks can tell who can see the dots. Like only the royals/officers. When you put it in chat, it's always possible you will miss your warning, but with a "dot" like that, you will be warned immediately with a log. There are lots of loyal and good members, but there are also who try to avoid the rules. Those wil be the targets then.

Having the visibility of the dots be an assignable rank item would solve teh problem of who can see the dots and who can't, and obviously everyone should be able to see their own dot-status lol

As a Guild Founder myself, I think this could be very beneficial. My co-leaders & I are always having to refer back into saved files for guildie infractions, or do the ol' *What'd he do again?* PM's.

I agree with only certain people having the ability to see the flagged list - just make it an assignable permission (like recalling guild items).
I also think, however, that if you do warn OR reward a player, you should have to supply a reason, which is then sent to the player in question in his/her log.

This would certainly make a leader's job easier, and I would LOVE to see this implemented!!
