I believe he was suggesting that a guild founder should be able to change the name of his or her rank, instead of it being the plain old 'guild founder'.
That was a remarkable translation job. What part of Babelfish did you plug that first post into?

the fact is if you have the name "Guild Founder" or what ever you stay at the top, so logically you know who found it ... and if you compare yourself to a dog its your choice
lol...top dog = the best in the U.S. sorry for using slang

He is technically the Guild Founder, so rank of name he wants, should be granted.

sorry about how i wrote (i'm french), but Blenched say right becose, personelly i hate that name
1. I agree with Blaspheme that a guild founder should be able to have their own cool rank name.
2. Maybe there is some game mechanic that requires Guild Founder. In which case the rank could be in addition to the name "guild founder". For example: Blaspheme (Guild Founder) Rank: Dark Raven Supreme.
3. Many people are not writing in their first language. From Blaspheme's tag Badjoe might have been able to guess French is his first language.
4. Blaspheme's English is pretty good and a lot better than my French. It was not hard to decipher for those proficient in English. Blaspheme has no reason to apologize for his English.
5. Dear Badjoe, I am not sure that i believe you when you said you didn't understand Blaspheme's post. if you continue to have trouble reading, try using the context of the sentence to figure out the meaning. It is a very helpful reading strategy. Also, if you learn a few languages you can learn some of the common mistakes many people make when switching languages. You just have to look beyond subject verb agreement and countable nouns, it isn't that hard. Lastly, if you get some francophone friends you will learn that "h" at the start of words causes no end of troubles for French speakers. Saying "is" instead of "his" and "er" instead of "her" is a common pronunciation difficulty. It is kinda like watching an English speaking person try to roll their "r" when speaking Spanish.
6. Dear Blaspheme, Next time post en francais and see how many Anglaphones have anything to say about it... Ces't bon?
7. Dear Fallen Sword community. I have seen multiple occasions where someone who is obviously writing in their second language is ridiculed for their English. It is beneath us.

to ECOFROG: you are absolutely correct. Poor English ticks me off, but if English is not your native language then I respect your attempts at a second one and appreciate the effort. It's my fellow Americans with crappy English skills that grates on me...

Lmao, there is actually no point in it.
Just adds a bit of spark to the GF's name and title.
I'm sure many GF's would be happy about this idea, seeing as they are always stuck with the same name. Aw, poor things.

I voted yes-especially since I lead the guild and I'm not the original guild founder (he left)-so I find it kinda silly that I'm stuck with a rank that says I'm the guild founder....I believe that a guild founder is someone that founded the guild, maybe its just me, but I would like to change my rank because of that mostly
*Nods* Yep you're right, GF's should be the real people who created the actual guild.
By changing the name, gives variation, plus I sometimes wonder why the real GF's who leave the game, and get replaced by somebody else are named as GF. I guess it is by default.
Either way, a little choice in the title, couldn't hurt anyone.

don't make errors in French eco
but I completly agree, there are alot of people who aren't native english speakers myself included, but we all try our best not to make big errors in our spelling. And like you already said I'd like to see those people complaining about an error we non-english people make, typing in our own native tongue...
ON TOPIC:
PLease add this feature, I also want a cool sounding name instead of Guild Founder

Mostly the ranks inside a guild are based on a theme ..., but then the founder can't get his own name and is stuck with that name.
It would be nice if I could change my rankname to a more suiting name with the other ranks I have in the guild
