I think this is a great idea, anyone wanting to steal gold just has to go through the list of people wanting to buy FSP to identify people carrying a lot of gold :D

As a replacement for the marketplace it is a poor idea, a lot of people use the marketplace to buy the odd FSP here and there when they are wanting to protect their gold, I used to do this when hunting. However with your idea you have to wait for sellers to come to you.

I voted leave the way it is, you need to create more gold sinks to take gold out of the game not tinker with the marketplace

No, because it would be anonymous as with the current system.

Too much delay and uncertainty would emerge due to this. I don't want to wait to get my FSP's for 30-40 minutes and get someone ripping off my daily gold gain from buffing while waiting.

Cons of the idea:
-If someone steals from you, your original request on this board will become invalid.

-Worse, if you have to log off, and get hit during then, you'll only realise quite some time later that you couldn't get your FSP's, and maybe, you even got more attacks due to this.

-The initial problem wouldn't be solved-prices would get only higher still and we'd be in the same place where rich get richer and the poor can afford even less FSP's than with the current cap(if any).

-I sure wouldn't like to find out how many buffers would decide to go out of business besides me. We're not working many hours a day to fear for the fruit of our performance

-Much better ideas in terms of sorting out the particular problem of re-pricing have already emerged, such as time limits,-or action-limitations on the market place(similar to banking: You can post as many FSP's as you like, but can only buy twice but with no upgrade possibilities for this, or a modified "level threshold FSP-marketplace", where every player can only see auctions placed by higher players than themselves, or whatever.

-If in utter need, I could post a request at let's say 150.000 gold/fsp. Someone in "more utter need" can overprice me with 150.001 gold, and I'm back in the swamp again, with no certainty of getting FSP quick yet again.

-Ladies and gentlemen, give a warm welcome to our newest team of SB-spammers: the "selling FSP's for 3.000.000/piece contatz mez!!!11oneone1"-group.

Suddenly and spontaneously, these are a few of the cons I could think about. This would most definitely not make things easier for those players who get their FSP's from in-game gold. Only pro I see is that again, more people will decide on buying FSP's instead of gaining them for gold. This actually _Does_ mean a good thing to the rest of the players too...but at a cost I think's too high and perhaps a bit unfair.

Perhaps offer a Bank to Bank offer as well?
I want x FSP for x gold.
[ ] On Hand to Seller
[x] Band to Seller

Also the same options for the seller.
I'll take the offer above;
[ ] To Hand
[x] To Bank

?

You all do realize making these deposits go into a bank will completely ruin deposits.

You have 3.9 million on hand gold you need to get rid of quickly.

Your buddy puts out 5 fsps for 777776 each.

You buy all 5 with transfer going to his bank.

Your buddy sends a Secure Trade for 3.8 million gold for 5 fsp (bank to bank).

Easily abusable.

great idea as it makes it fair for everyone & spots the rich getting richer as they have been! As for people worring about there gold getting stolen, just do the same system of where u want your gold to go as a secure trade ie:bank 2 bank, hand 2 hand or hand to bank!

Not sure about the fair part. I personally think the lower-level players will be denied their opportunities to purchase FSP's this way due to the high requests we would place. I can make 4.000.000 a day if I use all my stam on buffing-and business is going really good anyways. If this system changes, what if I'll be willing to buy FSP's for 200.000 gold if necessary? Not too sure if that's fair on those who can't farm together that much cash in a whole day's stam-burning session.

maybe the issue should not be fsp prices? but more why do we need them?

fsp can be used for upgrades and for buying hugely overpriced items in the auction house...

upgrades:-make there a cash alternative for the upgrades..

auction house:- ...nothing , as this is controlled buy the people who have the most fsp

this game like many is played by two types of people ....

the "have's"

and the "have not's"

the "haves":-the players who DO get free offers to work, and who CAN afford to donate to the game,

the "have not's":-the players who DO NOT get free offers to work, and who CAN NOT afford to donate to the game...

so the "have's" cotrol the whole game because thats just what they do,and the "have not's" have to put it with it... .....

the game developers will try all thier best to please both sets of players, but as the old saying goes "you can please some of the people all of the time, all of the people some of the time, but you can NEVER please all of the people all of the time"

this fits in well with this idea....

anyways enough from me .. back to the game

And how would you organise the gold/banking?
ie , some players dont have enough banks to put all their gold in their banks in one go....

so now they sit with gold on hand? and vulnerable?

Also , this will attempt to push the price down , however people will just not sell , or revert to shoutbox to sell bulk...

thats my opinion

Possibly 50k, the same you can sell FSP for on the upgrades page.

That's how long I've been waiting for this game.

I recall reading in a post that it was like 500gold per FSP at the start.

I think changing the marketplace in that way would destroy many of the fun challenges that come with managing a 25% bank. If you have 150,000 gold in your hand, why bank any of it? Just put up three requests for FSP's at 50,000 each and your money is protected. (The gold has to come out of your hand as soon as you put the request up, to ensure the gold is there when the buyer accepts, just like Auction House) And if someone accepts your trade for FSP's, you easily convert it back to gold at the Upgrades screen the next day (1 FSP = 50,000 gold).

I think it creates a bad loop-hole in the system.

Well, I think it is a very good news to see that HCS is trying to find solutions for controlling the marketplace (implementing gold sinks and so on).

Well it was about time...

is it still with money you have on hand? Cause otherwise I don't like this idea at all.

Also I do think that this won't solve everything since it's not if you have the cash you got a fsp now. Now you have to wait till someone accepts your offer.

Pretty much all equipment in sets (the ones you see on 80% of players of certain levels [Deep, Mancrusha, Tarbidas, Hunter, etc.]) are multiple FSP per piece, and nothing is bought with gold in mass, FSP demand is always as high as it can go.

With the amount of free offers that exist, and the methods to obtain FSP without purchase being slim, there will always be that much more gold to FSP.
Plus noting that FSP is used exclusively to upgrade, and upgrading cost 50FSP+ for one upgrade...

FSP is too heavily relied upon.
