There is currently a currency imbalance in Fallen Sword where gold is not valuable and FSPs are. This inflation drives up the gold cost of FSPs. Lots of bad ideas get proposed as a result and i am tired of reading them.

I propose 2 solutions which would eliminate gold from the game in a way that people will like because it will make gold more valuable relative to FSPs... Currently if people want more stamina they can buy it with FSPs. this means 100K gold = 1 FSP = 25 stamina. My proposals would allow people to use gold in a similar way. It can be balances so that it is more affordable for lower levels and will work as a gold drain that will help ease pressure on the FSP marketplace.

OPTION 1: For XXX gold (some amount of gold multiplied by your level) you hire someone to carry your gear while adventuring reducing the stamina you use... Like hiring a mercenary, (but make it easier) U could hire a porter... it may work out to a 10% or 50% or whatever chance to not use stamina when moving for the next X hours... I envision a porter board where U pick the porter efficiency and the amount of time and then pay. Just make sure that people wont make more gold than they spend on the porter. You will get more experience and have the possibility to get more items which may be valuable but you will definitely have less gold at the end of it. The Fallen Sword programmers who know all the algorithms will know the right numbers for this.

OPTION #2 Have single use potions at all the shops. They cost gold and can not be traded.... A potion of stamina... U can only buy 1 at a shop (ever). It would make the shops more valuable and gold more valuable. They can be leveled up so that they cost more and more at higher levels where gold is more and more plentiful, just like other items.

I completely agree with you... I can only make 1 FSP a day by making the money i made from training... and a level 300+ could make about 3-5 FSP daily.. i think
