I like the idea, but it would take alot of work to do it. A few of my own suggestions:

1. Maps would have to be randomly generated each time they were entered. Sometimes they could lead to other unexplored places.

2. There needs to be some form of risk associated with entering such a place, perhaps a chance of running into a dead end and having to portal back to Krul Island...

3. I like the chest idea. Perhaps the chest could only be obtained by killing whatever creature was lurking in the area. The creature would probably have to be scaled to pose a challenge to the player. Groups would not be allowed...

4. Put a time limit on these places... Then players would have to prepare for the unknown before they entered. Also put a timer on how long they have to wait before entering again to prevent loot runs.

i dont like this , as a se hunter , i travel through lots of areas and the thought of being randomly sent to some other place isn't really what i call awesome

I love your idea's Mszczui... When i first started playing fallensword i never looked at the maps untill i relised you end up wasting stamina searching around, which then made the game less appealing ; so yes if you don't mind spending more stamina, bring in unexplored area's with new places to search.

As for traps, step on the wrong square and loose stamina from escaping gas or damage from a spike trap or fall into anouther level through that trap door ; just some wild thoughts.
Not sure about being sent back to Krull Island though or loosing a hole level, a liitle harsh, though if you were to walk into enough traps i gues you could endup loosing a level, depending how harsh you want these traps to be.

true it wouldnt be fair to SE hunters
but it the game doesnt go around YOU or ANY other SE HUNTER
i say YEA go for i would LOVE to step into a square get sent back to the
beginning of the map lol would be fun and kill some time

How about just don't use the maps if you're looking for adventure. Plus after the unexplored area has been gone through a few times someone will map it out, either another website or forum post

I don't know but I would love to take a portal to a semi-randomly generated map.

I agree...we need to spice things up a bit more. FS or "the hack and slash game" as some of my friends call it is not that exciting anymore.

Awesum idea.

And maybe the chests could hv items which would be part of sum set which could only b obtainable through these chests.
And they could also hv potions. But random ones. Lyk u could get even a lvl 300 dblr or a lvl 30 deep pockets!

And the traps would be extreme fun.
And U should b allowed to visit the same dungeon only once or twice.

Well none of the lower level updates have been quite as broken...

...yet.
