Or you have the chance to kick bounty off the bounty board.

Imagine if you were bountied and then stay in sanctuary and wait until the bounty expires.
Or you have the chance to kick bounty off the bounty board.
Read the first post, Sanctuary wouldn't protect you from bounties..

**Modified with additional comments.
Sanctuary Gold sink - (was a good idea, just needed to be revised)
Pros: Protects player from all GvG and PvP related attacks and loss of XP, PvP rating, Gold and everything else related to it for a specific time period based on the amount of gold spent.
Cons: Does not protect you from the bounty board (or having a bounty placed on you while in Sanctuary) and does not allow players to use the following services/actions: Marketplace, PvP Arena and Attack Player. Sanctuary also does not allow you to perform any other action that would be considered an "attack" such as clearing bounties, counter-bounties, taking relics or hunting in general (includes Titans).
1. Sanctuary can be used at any point in time. (link placed under "Actions", below "special" header)
2. Maximum duration that sanctuary can be purchased for is one (1) week at a time.
3. Amount of gold per hour = 50 gold x virtual level (ie. level 500 must spend 25,000 gold for 1 hour of safety). At that level it would take 4,200,000 gold to be protected for one week. To add to the gold sink, it would be a Hoof option to add on a "tax" of 1% to 3% for each day over 1 that Sanctuary was purchased for. A 1% tax per day, at 7 days, would be an extra 6% tax equaling a total expenditure of 4,452,000 gold. A 3% tax per day, at 7 days, would be and extra 18% tax equaling a total expenditure of 4,956,000 gold. (math was requested)
4. Gold has to be paid up front from "in hand" gold for affect to work.
5. Any action that was taken which was not permitted would remove Sanctuary automatically, but still allow a player to perform that action. (ie. Sanctuary breaks if player attacks a player or monster/titan, buys or sells at the Marketplace, etc.) This can be augmented by a pop-up request of "are you sure?".
6. After Sanctuary is no longer active, a player must wait 24 hours before buying it again. (This stops the "Hit and Hide" ability) Anyone entering Sanctuary after hitting a player will have a minimum of double loss on XP, PvP rating and Gold if put up on the bounty board. This it to prevent anyone from just hitting high PvP targets then jumping on to Sanctuary in an attempt to protect themselves. As stated before, Sanctuary would not protect people from the bounty board.
7. Visible to all players would be a status on a players profile page stating "Protected" or something along those lines. This would also be able to be seen from the "Attack Player" screen and "Find Player" screen, so PvP players would not waste stamina trying to hit someone that was under Sanctuary.
8. Add a tax on all gold and FSP transfers between players. As the player would basically be in a "secure place", it is like going through a 3rd party vendor to do transfers. This tax could be up to 5% of the total transfer.
Something along the lines of what I'dfind acceptable and good for the game.

Killing monsters should not break the sanctuary.
Also the MP transactions don't need to break it either, just raise the amount charged to place listings.
Aside from those two points, great idea.

Actually, will agree on that. I accidentally glossed over that part.

As for this, I think a certain PvP immune player with access to the markeplace has already shown the damage they could do when they don't have any fear of being hit....
It just leads to easy market abuse, in my opinion.
My one and only problem with complete immunity. Take away the ability to do this, at least the ability to sell gold. Then it'll be completely fine with me, with all those little rules mentioned in bosco's post.

(my only problem with complete PvP immunity is this, and this alone)
Tbh, I'm ok with not being able to use the MP. (higher listing charges could work however if they were high enough. Or perhaps limits on placings etc.)
The ability to not have to rush to dump gold, waiting to ram as much as possible into personal bank would make up for it I'm guessing.

Simply locking people out just seems like the simplest way to go,in regards to the marketplace. limits and extra costs is just something too tricky that I'd rather the cows not spend time hashing things out with. lol
You'd still be able to dump gold into bank, buy potions, and whatnot. So it wouldn't be too bad.
