This is a guessing game. Usually the highest level creep is always the most interesting. It was Gogmor, then Tarbidas, then Hunter, then Valk, then the Octo Spine.. The self centered question is obvious: will I be able to fight it? :)

I do not remember how many players had access back then to the top creep = if anyone has that info please share it with us. The current configuration however has significat differences - the polarisation at top.

Back then, the top 50 players were spread over 10-20-30 levels. now they are spread over almost 90 levels. Say they have the top creep to be level 450. If they put it in a 350 area (100 levels lower) - you will only have about 30 players allowed to kill it !

So - the real question should be - where is the cutpoint - how many players will be allowed to attack this creep (and maybe do an attached quest - if any). My guess is there will be 50-100 hunters. What is your guess?

Seeing as Tarbida, a lvl 200 creep, spawned in a lvl 144 area, I'm guessing quite a few will have access to it.

there will be 2 more creeps that are new, and they will be above level 300 area's (if I interpret this correctly)

Let's see

Ursa was a lvl 325 creep => to get the full set you needed to be lvl 271 (other parts could be hunted in a lower region).

But if I look at lord valk => lvl 300 set => needed to be lvl 207.

If it's a lvl 400 set you'll need to be over lvl 300 I assume

I'm not stupid! :P

I was just pointing out that Tarbidas spawned in an area almost 60 lvls below it's lvl. If the new high lvl creeps are 350-400ish they could spawn in a lvl 300ish realm.

I would not go with the norm they havent done so far.

A good example is the jump in SE lvl's and the fact you can only access it if you lvl 421.

I'm not saying the new LE will only be accessable for a few but I wouldn't count on it spawing in a given range for me it could be anywhere between 300-421

Tarbidas, Hunter, Valk - spawned this time in the exactly same area they did the first time, when they were top creeps. Back when the Spider spawned, the top player was at about 180 I think - and there were at least 200 from 144 to 180 (correct me if I'm wrong). And 56 levels were almost a third of the total levels of the top player. If we use the same math and assume a level 425 creep - it should spawn in a 280 area - which I really doubt.

For TT - all goes towards a single new creep. There are 2 monsters in the last wave. The Reborn Frost Giant will mot likely be one. There is only one new set of items in the database - what makes you think there will be two new creatures?

There won't be a lvl 275 one, I only can see a new legendary for around lvl 400. HCS never forgot any lvl range. Since the highest legendary so far is lvl 325 and there are only going to be 2 legendaries tomorrow I assume the new one will be around lvl 400 (look at tarbida lvl 200, hunter lvl 225, lord valk 300)

look further (lord valk 300, ursa 325, next in line 400)

If I don't remember completely wrong there were only about 26-27 players able to hunt Tarbida when it appeared for the first time. Few of the highest level players were the only ones able to kill it without groups. And it was months away before anyone could actually use it.

Also when Leaf dragon first appeared there were only about 50 players able to hunt it.

And lastly the octo-spine chompers...

lvl 350 would be a good limit this time ;)

Delux, Ilie and Darkpig (and whoever was on top back then) were definetely above 180 when tarbidas came - that is not "months aways before anyone could actually use it". Weeks more likely.

I don't remember exactly but I cannot possibly believe that between 244 and the top there were only 26-28 people. I would really like other "old timers" to confirm this.

Your post is highly irritating - mostly because you are probably right :).

You and the vast majority of players have had plenty to hunt that is relivent to you but as soon as 'The shoe is on the other foot' you don't like it.

Ok, not months away, only 15 days.

First time it was not in appela mountains but dokar(west) which is a lvl 160 realm. At the time I was around lvl 180 (in top10).

I'll continue digging more info.

I agree with Az and im not even as high as he is. Hunted ursa for a bit to get the quest, other than that ive just been lvl-ing as there has been nothing else worth getting for me. Now it looks like if there is to be a new big LE mob it'll be tomorrow and i'll be lucky if i even get an hour to hunt it the way my day is set out for tomorrow. Not the end of the world tho is it :)
