Well... I don't need backpack/ah spaces to store or sell items... I just buy a set after the market is flooded and have a chain of people use them...

This messes with the supply factor on the AH...

This will also mess with the prices...

And now the market for the items has become f*d and the availability on the AH is also f*d...

What I want to know is why you thought you would never see me post on the forums again o.O

1.) not you, I said is forum meaning I didn't think I would see this thread again (its well over a month old and has been dead for about as long)

2.) It does mess with the supply factor on the AH but I thought/still think that it would benefit everyone who used the system

3.) You said this idea would kill the AH, if its already f**d up (as you said), how would that be worse, lol

I think the only time I get harsh is when I am pointing out people who aren't being civil... lol

hmmm, seems a little harsh. anyways, I'm still awaiting constructive criticism on this thread and also negative criticism with a reason. "Because this will kill the AH" is not a reason, that is a thought of what could possibly happen with no reasons behind it. not that it matters, a few others killed this thread a while ago

I don't consider that harsh... just think about it... if this suggestion has any usage at all items won't be in the AH anymore... they will be rented out... so whoever owns the most items gets the constant flow of cash... and they don't even need BP to store the items cause others are using it... oh and the best thing that will happen is you rent someone who is really slow at leveling a set, or a set to someone who will use it for a month... or go inactive with it, so you get paid for them to store it...

When someone makes a post just to curse, I consider that harsh. Also, what you said is not true. As per what I said in the initial suggestion, there would be prepaid renting periods at the end of which the items would automatically be taken from the renter and and returned to the owner's backpack (unless the backpack was full then it would return to the mailbox for 24 hours).

Edit: I also want to add that I don't think there will be no items sold anymore. I think most items will still be sold at the AH because most items last longer than a few levels. This would help for items like the samurai set, which in my opinion is only really good for 2 levels (the two undead ones that you can one hit if you have it and holy flame)

NO NO NO NO.

This would lower (significantly) the value of LE and SE gear. There are many players that spent REAL $ to invest in those markets. I'm not one but... just not fair.

It WOULD lower AH prices for this gear. It would provide a profitable way for me to empty my backpack of the gear while I wait for prices to go up (good for me) but really a bad idea for the game as a whole.

The idea of "lessening" the gap between the haves and the have nots is silly. So, we're basically going to take all those who donate to the game and say "Thanks for making this game possible, but we're going to make it WAY easier for someone to not donate and have all the best stuff". I'm not that much of a donator to the game compared to some but... no way. Donations in this game translate to advantages. Period.

I voted no for reasons similar to those articulated by other players including coyotik, darkarchon, ecolitan and graceisgone.

I was always told not to agree with phools, but in this case I will make an exception. This would do more harm to the games economy than good.

I'm opposed to this idea for a few reasons:

1) too many items in the game as is - SE items aren't so super, and nearly everybody I know over 200 either a) has an epic hammer OR B) has access to at least 1 for hunts through their guild. They aren't so "epic" or super if everybody has one.

2) You don't HAVE to hunt with the best gear on. Yes, some people enjoy it, but you can't have everything you want for cheap. If you want good items, just hunt and scour the marketplace for the cheap items and live with it. If you want great, 1-hit setups, then expect to pay.

3) Allowing players to share their gear would decrease the number of players donating because nobody would need to donate to get the destroyer sets, we could just rent them all for 100,000gold per session instead of 600FSP/set.

Sorry, but if you want to have access to everything, pay up and donate. This is a free game, but if you want the best of the best, you oughta donate. And you don't even have to do that... when I ran Heroes of the Sword before moving to TEQ, I donated 5+ SE sets, an Epic hammer, and probably 50+ legendary sets, for all my members to use for FREE. And when I moved to TEQ, I didn't ask for my money back. The point being - there are great guilds out there with gear for ALL levels (HoTS did and still does take ANY level, as do many great guilds).

if you can't afford the legend sets, then don't use them. as i said before, they are not required to 1 hit at the earlier levels and after level 186, it is impossible to 1 hit no matter what equips you have, except for undead levels and even those, legend sets are not very useful since you're trying to pack as much damage as possible and legend sets don't give the most damage, sorry to say.

EDIT: plus not only that, legend items are dirt cheap right now so stop complaining.

Look at the reborn dragon ring.

I love this idea though. :)

For the love of god stop GRAVEDIGGING THIS THREAD. It's happened three times already, ffs. just. leave. it. alone.

If you want to discuss market prices on ward components, start another thread. This idea needs to go back and die under the rock it rose up from.
