i voted b cus that would actualy make the mp usefull and put the power in the hands of the people, but i hope people decide to sell for less than 100k anyways


I have seen numerous times of whence you create threads on the aspect of getting the Cap lower.

However you request for Option B:

-This isn't what you would wish for if it is forwarded, as I can asure you people selling for 95K, would be *cough* Nil, unless you are those people who care for others more than yourself and profit.

-Therefore, I advise you not to choose this option, as very likely allowing them to have the "Power" Of the free market, you will surely face the hardship of paying >>> 120/150K

-It may possibly even go up to 180K. Who knows.

I dread to see the amount of new players requesting a change in the cap, and I dare say there will or may be many who would complain about them requesting this, and then the whole cycle of compalining. thread making and etc would start again.

I was happy for the fact that I haven't seen many FSP related threads recently, I hope for the sake of people's wanting of lower FSP prices that people will not sell for higher than 105K

Or else, *rolls eyes*

Even if u guys say u want option C ..ppl will still sell on FS box for 110k-130k gold

what about this? everyone can buy fsp, no limit, but the price would increase with each buy? and lets say, each day, or depending on the amount of increase maybe each week, the cost would go back to original. and ofc the higher level player buys the more the increase would be. this way there is kind of a limit, but everybody is still free to buy fsps, even lower lvl players.

in my opinion this seems the most applicable option and the higher lvl players wouldnt rule the market on fsp anymore

Option C... is the best

I personally think that the Admins... suck at the moment..
They are the reason why the FSP prices went up

I think this opinion pretty much resembles the level of incompetence among FS population.
Why does everyone prefer to think of the world from the communist point of view?

The problem with economy of any RPG game and its currency is that processes that are normally supposed to be cyclic (for example, prices moving up and down, up again and then down again) are static. This is due to the fact that the basic game currency GOLD is multiplying at increasing rates without stop. If you think of money as goods on the market, then you see that currently players are offering GOLD and demanding FSP, and this has become an unchanging trend. When a currency is being offered on the market, its value decreases, while when it's demanded, it rises. Because of that, the natural cycle of economic expansion and contraction has taken shape of an endless chain of depression, with inflation as a result.

In other games, these problems are being solved by means of limiting players' influence on the market. Offering currency at preset values, creating non-existing (non-player-gathered, at least) resources, limiting prices directly or eliminating p2p trading as a whole. However, the game that we all love so much has chosen a different and rather difficult path of pure market economy, guaranteeing a nearly infinite supply of unsatisfied customers and clueless populist remarks on the forum. But what possibly can be done about this problem that bothers us?

Well, the most logical way out is obviously increasing the worth of GOLD in game so that the market battle of GOLD vs. FSP doesn't have a predefined winner. How to do this is the ONLY question that should be and WILL BE discussed. Otherwise known as gold sinks, there must be more ways invented for gold to leave the economy as easily as enter it and motivation must be provided for players to get rid of their gold.

And lastly.. Remember one thing!
Every time you buy FSP for GOLD, you increase the price of FSP and decrease the price of GOLD. It is NATURAL and there can't be any other ways of stopping inflation other than not buying FSPs at all. So, as long as all people here are reasonable enough not to think it is possible, STOP COMPLAINING and start thinking globally. Your every action has a consequence.

first off the market place in general sux.. there needs to be a cap on FSP prices or people would take advantage of this and drive price to heights where no one can afford.. I.E. game economy collapse

Get rid of bank to bank trades for FSP. Put meaning back into the market place.
No sense having a market place if you can sell by other means.


To tell you the truth I don't think any of these option will help at all...Its all been said. If you take the cap it will rise...point blank....if you keep a cap that will the set the prices.

But I've also heard remove this remove that. We can't change bank to bank and hand to hand trading. That would hurt even worse. What about the players who pass gold around to make deposits and helpout their fellow guild members?

if you lifted the cap completely... within 6-12 months the prices for FSP in the market place would be astronomical to the point people will stop buying them and the market will become saturated.


[sarcasm] Oh my god! You mean people might have to ACTUALLY use REAL money to buy FSP? OH THE HORROR! [/sarcasm]

You don't NEED FSP to play Fallen Sword.

wat if u guys sold it for 50k in the upgrades section and elimnate the marketplace altogether? Theres no reason to keep fsp at such a high price

This is by far the best way foreward even if you had to sell it for 75k or 100k. at least it would always be there. :!:


So HCS should do away with their only income from the game by allowing plays to upgrade using an imaginary currency?

I don't really think we need the bank 2 bank option in the marketplace.
It isn't very hard to withdraw gold from the bank and buy an FSP the way it was before.

I like the cap on the marketplace set to 100k.
its pretty ridiculous For FSP to cost more than 100k

Hi all,

We would like your feedback in regards to the marketplace. We have 4 options available and would like you to decide which you feel would be best for the game.


There is one problem with this statement (and most likely not the first person to point this out)

You only list Options A, B & C -- The is 3 Options, where is Options D?


BTW: I voted for the only Reasonable one -- Option B. Maybe this will bring the FSP Price back done. (HaHaHa) I know it will go NUTS, First!

I haven't voted yet as i want to think about it more ; so far my thoughts are more towards Option C.

Raising the cap to 125k will make no difference as it is now in my humble oppinion.

Removing the cap all together, Hmm!, this is a tricky one ; Surely new players to the game will find it impossible to perchase fsp as i think it will be like the AH, peeps will put the prices up as high as they can just like items that are hard to get hold of.
Also like myself at the end of a good days hunting im left with a lot of coin in my purse ; noing that you need to exchange it before the theives set in for fsp's, it leaves you with no choise but to pay the going rate ; and Option B leave it open for peeps to exploit it for that very reason. Hope that makes sense.

These are my thoughts so far.

kill the cap, even though i hate the idea the most. only way the problem will ever be solved.


sorry to say it have to be option B... even though its going to kill the lowlvl players chance on getting any fsps at all... :cry: and even my chances....

i woud say put cap or to 75k or to 50k this woud help small lvl players to get more fsp and with that they woud play this game more easy

Its a free market system ....option b ...the price will be what players are willing to pay ....if no one ever buy's for 100k then the price will drop till some one does buy . if player s are willing to pay 200k then that 's what it will be .you dont like the price ...stop buying fsp

why not just raise the fsp to gold amount in the upgrade section to 100 k. that way players are more enticed to put fsp into the MP cause the cost of fsp will be the same. i know the game doesn't benefit as much but it would get the MP going again.

b whould be best if we can have some kind of new gold sink maybe doubling the starting price of hell forging or even 3x start cost of gold for forging and the elimnation of btob treansfers whould also help some i think
