Maybe it wont destroy it, but it sure wont do it any good. The 10 stam is your everyday, lets have some fun pvp attack. It's the most common attack and it causes the least amount of damage and most players dont have an issue with it from what i've seen.

If you want to change something: change the pvp point system to show who the real pvpers are. Not the point trading, point buying high level players hoarding them. But the players out there actually hitting each other.

Or how about the exp loss system. While i enjoy taking 10+mil for a single hit on someone that deserves it i think it kind of holds back the high level players from getting in on the action. I think evening out the experience loss to a reasonable amount would be the best thing for pvp in the game.

Those 2 things would make a world of difference in the pvp world. Please leave my 10 stams alone.

actually, i know a lot of players with a problem with a basic 10 stam hit...
in fact, someone from your guild had me de-leveled for a 10 stam...

and no, i'm not complaining...

That's the point of this suggestion. That way, if people wanted to do a random pvp attack purely for fun, they could do it with no consequences. Random question, would you like this suggestion better if it used 11 stam instead of 10? Is there something special about the 10 stam to you, or is it just the concept of a huge risk for every pvp attack?

Also, this is off-topic, but...

Have to agree that that would greatly improve the amount of pvp in the game, although I think this suggestion would be better.

But pvp is supposed to have consequences. Every attack on or off the bounty board is and should remain a bountyable offense. If you dont want to risk a bounty there's the pvp arena for you. And i've stated before that i would be ok if the idea was for anything other than 10 stams. If i remember right i suggested 5 or 11. But i'm having second thoughts on that. We already have 2 pvp systems, we know the one needs some work. Lets get it fixed before adding another one huh.

Why is pvp supposed to have consequences? Why not have victimless pvp, especially since the only thing the attacker gains is pvp rating. Sure, there's no risk, but there's very little reward besides fun, for those that are interested.

Why ? Because that's the whole point of it, that's the whole fun ... if it had no consequences i would most probably quit the game ...
* edit: as for the 10 stam attack ... look at it this way: you attack with a 10 stam, the target bounties you, so there will be some BH-ers out there fighting to complete your bounty ... so in fact, it encourages PvP ;) if you aren't willing to lose xp or don't like taking chances then you shouldn't engage in PvP at all ...

its not like there will be no risk with changing how 10 stamina attacks work. you will actually have to be actively pvping to keep up your pvp rating since other players will be hitting you more because there will be no bounty involved. if you want to have more risk, make it so you take more pvp rating depending on the amount of stamina used. you will risk 5 levels for more pvp rating.


if you are worried about the bounty board being 'nerfed' by the 10 stamina change, then why dont you suggest it not work for the bounty board but just in regular PvP? yet i still think the more competition the bounty board has, the better.

I *think* RebornJedi linked Grim to a suggestion of his here a week or so ago, and he said he likes it/will get hoof to look... not sure >.>

To be honest... the 10 stam hit is the most basic and most common of all hits... both from levelers and PvPers alike, most people (at least at my level) dont care, and will tag me back... some tag back when i use 100 stam xD... if HCS makes an attack non-bounty-able... why not make it a 5 stam or something? its not meant to take as much, so it should use less stam to do so ;)

hmmmm...... I'm liking the 5-stam idea for non-bounty-able attack. PvP'ers keep the 10-stam tag and there can be the simple fun of PvP only attacks. I think that would do just fine in DA's idea.

Thinking back on the recent upgrade, i think the 10 stam non bountable hit is one of the worst ideas ever on PvP..People can act really stupidly when knowing there are no consequences..

So a HUGE no to the main idea behind this..

What would be great to see is linking PvP Prestige with the bounty board only and making 10-stam clears not possible to counter-bounty..People will still act stupidly without risking a bounty but at least it will be the fault of the player that has been bountied
