I am against this. If guilds use the protection given them through tagging and priviledges a new guild member can't do any damage. There are sites and threads with guild thieves identified in them, these resources are there for using. I just don't think it is everyone's right to see what guilds a person has been in. Ask them, look on the sites and threads and find out what you want before inviting. I've only been in one guild my entire stay in FS so I'm not saying this as someone who guild hops.

Do we know any other part of a player's history? Why should we know this part. This is just a protection for guild owners who don't properly protect their "assets" and is an intrusion into the privacy of players. If you want to know something about a player ask them. If you don't like/believe their answer don't invite them.

Since the Contributed XP rises exponentially the higher your level, this could really distinguish loyalty.
I know recently in my guild, I had to ask the Guild Founder for a list of join dates.

This is a good idea : as one who has to checkout new recruits, would save me pestering their allies and their guild leader to see if a certain charactor belonged to that guild or not. This new idea would give the info we need.

you are totally blind if think that everyone will be honest....come on????

If you are going to attack someone read the whole thing. Note that I said:

If you don't like/believe their answer don't invite them

I don't care if they will be honest or not. Don't give them priviledges and they'll be right out of the guild if they are a thief. My history would only have one entry, so it doesn't affect me. Just don't think this is right.

I like the idea.

I have seen it made one or two other times before.

I see no probem with it. I would like to know which guilds a player might have been in. I can then backtrack to understand their character more.

If perhaps they have had a bad reputation after speakiing with their founder, then I can try and see if I can give them a good home here, and keep them to allow them to gain trust back and have a guild to support them.

I am not being nosy and I am not being lazy, this would actually give me more work. Anyhow, as I see it, it will benefit guilds to know what other guilds a certain player has been in, we can then ask the founders how they were in the guild. This would let me inform my Founders and other members and tell them t be aware.

By this we can then invite the player in and if they do the same actions as they have done in their previous guilds, then we will just try and explain things to them, and get them to understand to play the game properly

I do not want to just go around kicking every single player out just for the sake of it, I'd like to try and do something about it, rather than just take the shortcut. If he does not wish to heed any advice and decided to leave the guild, then so be it. We tried.

This is not violating privacy, it is easy to find out past guilds of certain players if wanted, however it might just take up a little more timre, whereas this would be more easier, I have wasted a lot of time chasing after other players guilds and finding out where they came from. When this could easily solve the problem.

This would help recruiting a lot easier, those who actually want to put in a bit of effort and give someone a hoem and a chance instead ofjust chucking them out as soon as someone tells you they are a theif or whatever.
Instead of making recruiters runaround the place needlessly, might aswell just have this so we can just go ahead and message the guild. A whole lot more easier and better, at least we get the work from the Guild founder, and not from some randomer who doesn't know what he is saying and just tells you the guys a theif.

I like this idea. Yes, it has been suggested before, but its annoying to have guys leave just a couple days after joining...

Did you know that there are likely over 2000 rouge black holes in our galaxy alone. Each of them can reach very high speeds, even in space terms, are each capable of destroying anything in their path, and are invisible. Well, goodnight!

As I said on the other threads, if this ever gets added they would need to include the day you joined the guild... the level you were on that date... and the day you left... as well as teh level you were at that time... also possibly if you left or were kicked...

*Nodszu* Totally.

I've also always wanted to know when I joined my own guildzu, and the levelzu.

And I never left. :P

I think this info should only be available to a guild once you have tried to join that guild. The info, or a link to it, should be on the recruiting page. If you don't want me to know your history, don't apply to my guild.
