It has been suggested before. Not entirely sure about it really. I think that the its a good idea for the most part, but its got to be worked on quite a lot to make it feasible and not overpowered. I mean it could be an interesting addition to the game certainly. Here is my vision of it anyway.
Add a new skill called Beast Tamer.
The way it works is it gives you a random percentage that after you kill a creature, it has a percent chance of offering you it services similar to a merc. The offer would have a time limit and would have the same effect as all the other mercs out there. Can you imagine getting it to work on an SE though? lol. Amazing merc especially if its say tri, malphas or xinderoth.

i don't see how this idea would add anything to the game. So since there are so many needed ideas out there i vote no

Or what if the mount gave very little combat bonus (and no exp penalty) but also gave you light foot. If I had Xinderoth as my slave, you can bet I'd make him carry me around.

the only way a 'mount' would work in this game without being overpowered if it let you move 2 steps up, down, right, left, and 4 steps diagonally(x2 movement/stamina). same amount of stamina is used, you can just move around faster

Interesting idea, but would be hard to balance.
Did you know that there are likely over 2000 rouge black holes in our galaxy alone. Each of them can reach very high speeds, even in space terms, are each capable of destroying anything in their path, and are invisible. Well, goodnight!
