'World' >> 'View Map' >> 'Mountain Path' ...

Walk around with teh arrow keys... look for monsters called 'Rats' and then click on teh sword icon with a sub-text of 20 on it to kill them :)

Note it will take stamina to walk and kill things...

You will get Experience points, Gold points, and sometimes drops...

Spend gold on items in teh Auction House... 'Actions' >> 'Auction House'...

Equip these items and teh drops on your profile page 'Character' >> 'Profile' and look for teh 9 boxes of equipment, as well as your 3 Backpack slots...

Also, be sure to repair your items once you get them once per square... this can be done via a quick link\button on teh 'View Map' page, by pressing teh 'r' key on teh 'View Map' page, or by going to 'Actions' >> 'Blacksmith' and kicking on teh 'Repair all items' button...

Each time you level up you will receive 5 skill points, and 2 level up points... do not use the skill points until you reach level 20 or level 25... and it would be a good idea to place all your 'level up' points into the damage stat...

And then you will find yourself out of stamina... just so you know, you gain stamina every hour at teh rate of 50 regardless of what you are doing or if you are online or offline...

You can increase your maximum stamina and stamina gain using FallenSword points...

Upgrading Maximum stamina to 24 hours of your stamina gain is a good idea...

There are a few items that have stamina in them...

Frost Falchion, FireDragon Ring, Jara Rune, Cloth Gloves of Stamina?, Rune of stamina?, Dark Woven Boots? come to mind...

As well as that if you join a guild there is a guild structure called the 'Tranquil Retreat' which increases your Max Stamina... and a guild structure called the 'Endurance Shrine' which increases your Stamina gain per hour...

And on top of that if you are in a guild there are some relics which increase your max stamina, there are also relics which increase your stamina gain per hour...

As per getting FSP to do this...

You can try the Free Offers... Upgrades > Point Rewards...
You can check out this post on how to get good completion rates on surveys... http://forum.fallens... ... 792#211792

You can recruit your friends to the game and get FSP when they level up... http://fallensword.c... ... d=referral but you cannot recruit them from a computer that you have accessed the game site at...

You can try to buy and sell items for FSP... you can also try to kill Elites and sell their items for FSP... or you can save up gold in your bank and buy FSP with gold, but this won't be cheap, they go for 100,000 gold easy on the MarketPlace right now...

Now about the Natives:
If you can't kill them in just 1 hit stick with killing rats... if you can 1 hit them and don't die from them then kill them and rats... when you hit level 3 or 4 move to the Fire Chasm (level 2) http://fallenswordgu...ap.php?realm=15

From the maps at FallenSwordGuide.com you can click on staircases and see how to get from place to place...

Cheers and good luck ^_^

It will. Whenever you lose you'll get a message telling you how much gold/xp you lost.
