Sorry but I rly dislike the idea...

Personally I think *massive/big* guilds take away from teh guild aspect... while rly tiny ones do teh same... I think 50 - 75 members is the perfect balance point...

This is because a guild is all about bonding together with your guild mates and getting to know each other... networking... in rly big guilds, some people tend to feel left out... plus there is too much going on that not everyone gets to know each other...

Also... it would only make the huge guilds even more huge, thus make the new little guilds harder to catch up to them...

I would agree with DarkArchon on the subject of getting "too big". The max members we have now, is a perfect limitation on the guild sizes. Any more, and it would make guilds feel a lot less like family.

Well our guild is at 36 max members we have 27 I would like 50 one day but the size of the guild keeps our members a lot closer with each other we share more then just Guild life we share real life issues and concerns I was in Besten Guild at the time we had 87 members no one rteally knew or tok the time to know ortes that is why when our Guild was formed the 8 of us that did chat and get to be friends all left at the same time 5 of us are still together 3 left to form a guild of their own

My friend's side of the family has about 125 living relitives and they manage to keep rather close. Even though they live in 8 different states they still get together once a year, or at least 80% of them do at any given year, for Christmas.

That out of the way it is not uncommon to get lost in a mega sized guild, yet it could be a perk to help small guilds as well. For every 50 levels you get 1 extra slot, limit 3. If you gave away too many extra slots then there would be no reason to buy the FSP and donate it to get extra members, but at 3 slots it would raise the max members from 8 to 11, which could give a small guild just the extra push it needs to stay together, and give people something aditional to work for.

I just think that it would be nice to add a few people here and there as a bonus for being a powerful guild.. I mean what other bonuses do we have?

That question wasn't serious was it? The structures and relics held are plenty bonus for being a powerful guild aren't they? I have to come down NO on this one. I don't know how important it is for the top 10 guilds to chase down TEW. But a system like this would make it nearly impossible for a guild to get as big as the big guilds. Your proposal gives TEW 16 more slots than a starting guild. Making it that much easier to get 50 more levels and get 17 more slots. (Not picking on TEW but they're #1 and level 800 so math is easy for them).

Big (high level) guilds can be bigger and better by spending more fsp's because they have massive inflows of gold. They deserve this advantage but giving the "bonus" size doesn't seem necessary for any reason other than to increase their ability to gain levels.

I don't think this suggestion was made in order to increase the power of a few guilds but it would have that impact. I don't begrudge the powerful guilds their power, but don't think they should be rewarded with an easier way to more xp just because they are big.

EDIT: I saw your 3 limit. But that meant the spaces were free and that won't happen. Even at 3 I don't see the need.

I think thats horrible that you cant keep a family closeness with 100+ members... we have that no problem... I just think that it would be nice to add a few people here and there as a bonus for being a powerful guild.. I mean what other bonuses do we have?

I think guilds are big enough as they are.. i mean we get relics and structures and even items to share isn't that enough
