Donation Perks

Back in the day, which was a Wednesday btw, one of the only ways to get FSP was to buy em. The arena has changed this, which is nice, I get FSP whenever I need/want them, and I no longer donate. I think something should be added to donations. Currently there are 5 different levels of donation. Starting with $5 up to $60, each you get more FSP for your dollar. Since donating gets you nothing more than a game currency that can be easily bought in game for gold, I propose Adding special areas/gear/potions available to people who Donate.
I see no reason to change the current donation system, just add new options. For Example:
$5 - 20 FSP and 5 Potions
$10 - 40 FSP and Level xxx "Special Gear"
$20 - 90 FSP and Level xxx "Special Gear" and 5 Potions
$40 - 220 FSP and Level xxx "Special Gear" and access to "Special Area"
$60 - 350 FSP and Level xxx "Special Gear" and 5 Potions and access to "Special Area"
There could be more variations of this as seen fit, but that is the general idea I have.
The Special Gear would NOT be uber sets that pwn everything. They would be similar to the Crystaline items won from the arena. Basically their stats are average, but they have nice bonus's such as xp and stamina gain. I'm torn as if the gear should be bound or not. Bound is nice because then the only way to get it is buy it.
There would be a special area that is only accessible to people who donate. When they donate they get a set amount of "time" in the special area. Time would be Stamina so it would be fair for all who donate. The special area would change from week to week. One week it could have Zachorzi that would NOT drop anything, but it could be used to finish the quest. Same with Ursa. Another week it could have Elites that could drop some of the "special gear". I should add that the special gear dropped would not be bound, and FI would have no effect on these creatures. That is pretty much the Special area.
And the potions...there could be different choices. There could be the Supreme Doubler available, FI 1000, and even new ones. Librarian 500 or 1000 could be a possibility. Potions would be bound.
I think that's pretty much it. Add what you think could improve this, or let me know why it phales, and why I should burn or something lol.
I should add that the items/potions received would be picked by the donor when making the donation. The available items would be in a drop down box.

I'd like to know what you think is overpowered about the idea though.

I'd like to see something separate...
Keep the prices as they are now...
But add on $1 donated money (new game currency) to the account for each $5 spent... this is like a bound FSP... but can be used in a new shop area... you can there get these potions... maybe even teh same ones that are in game now... and gear for this currency at a SET rate...

Potential... but not how I'd like to see it... NOTE: I have NEVER donated yet...

I thought about this too, and thought that instant gratification would be the ideal set-up. It would be cool either way. OF course, knowing that something you want cost $100, someone is more likely to donate a few times and save up for it.
And as a note the current way of buying FSP would stay the same, you could still buy just FSP.

sorry but you got a no vote from me i like the idea but make it where you get the same amount of fsp
The reason you get less FSP is because you are getting the perks.
You will still have the option to buy the regular amount of FSP, you just won't get the extras.

But there IS a No option... so you just phaled basic reading o.OHonestly, your poll isn't fair. Hunted Cow Studios wouldn't be able to see how many people wouldn't agree since there is no "No" option. Thus, they cannot compare results.

I, for one, would like HCS to keep up with server costs and such to keep the game running. Maybe you don't. But if I play a game. I like to be ABLE to actually PLAY it. Any idea which would guarantee donations to keep the game running are something I'd support.
I agree completely, this is something people who don't donate need to understand. Some do, most don't care.
