What should HCS do with the current buff/skill limit 150(+25 with Fury structure)?

  1. Keep the buff/skill limit (10 votes [29.41%])

Sorry tree, but you are wrong. Most buffs state clearly what the % is, unlike enhancements. So a level 500 DC would negate any defense. A level 500 Wither would work every time, etc.


I am not so sure about that

You could be right but it would be a first for anything HCS has done if it's true.

thats on the cows. I voted for nr.3, which is making limits higher but do not remove them. max lvl200 would be nice ending point. would make a reason to put more points into doubler for example :)

Unbreakable lvl 200 = 100%

Excuse me but, to be honest I'm never 100% sure how all the buffs work(there is some ambiguity in their description).

For example Unbreak says, "+0.5% per point chance per point of equipment not taking durability loss during combat."

I read that treeline is correct in assuming that there is a chance to have that effect(or buff) take place. What that % is only HCS knows for sure.

Same with Conserve, +0.05% per point chance that combat (vs. players and vs. creatures) will use no stamina. (Excludes group/relic combat).

So there's three choices. Doing nothing, making no limits, and finding a new limit somewhere in the middle. I like Joe's idea of 200 but I would even look ahead a little further and make it possibly 225 or 250. Doubler X5 would be nice even though we have a pot that gives us X9. Just more change for the thought jar :)

unbreakable activating doesn't even have close to the smae effect as wither or conserve happening. The onlt problem I can see with 100% unbreakable is the crystaline items. With unbreakable at level 200 though, they might actually become worth what the AH prices are, lol.

Did you know that there are likely over 2000 rouge black holes in our galaxy alone. Each of them can reach very high speeds, even in space terms, are each capable of destroying anything in their path, and are invisible. Well, goodnight!

I guess you havent read my msgs above that exactly UB buff would need some tweak so that its not 100% at lvl200...

Or rather no event will be based on the number of registared players.

To mix in with this very complicated matter, with the buffs as it is, limits aren't a problem, if we all need higher level buffs. "Super buffs" For that matter, the special section is in the AH.

I'm not going against anything here exactly, as it stands we have buffs that go over 200 in the AH as you've seen, however I don't mind having buffs Such as berserk, Fury etc to go higher, just not those based on chance of activation, therefore we won't hit a 100% Or rather we won't hit a 100% straight away as to taking the limit off. (Not that taking the limit off will shoot to 100%, just the fact it will reach it eventually)

Anyhow, again Super buffs are there, conserve already activates enough times to really make a difference, I tried using with no conserve and I phaled to level at all. I believe now and maybe further and forever in the game it is rather fine.

Though one question, so what is the purpose of taking the limit of and why? Except of course for having a higher level buff....they are already rather high, meaning the level 170 ones....

but its been posted in other threads that there won't be any more events based on the number of registered players because they encourage multis.
