first of all,why is it in the bug section?is not a bug,is the way fallensword is built!!!

and to your idea, hundreds of people have whinned about it already, and theres a reason why they got all rejected and high level players all wanted the stamina gain to stay that way

1.it would make it unfair to players who cant play computer games for 5 hours a day if we make it so that you can train and train for a long time.if it only takes 20 minutes or so to train, then all players can advance levels at around the same speed, instead of people hog the computer for hours and gain 10 levels while the people who have things to do in real life dont have the time to level

2.stuff such as buffs and attack groups would become alot less valueable.people can just buff others almost without a price since stamina is so common

3.it would discourage players to donate to the game.if you want more stamina, buy max stamina, stamina gain and current stamina with fallensword points.if you cant, then well too bad.if is already provided without upgrades, fallensword would earn less money from donations and the game would advance much slower

there are dozens of reasons why more stamina would be bad,i would have to write a 5 pages essay to explain them all which i wouldnt want to :P

I have been playing MMORPGs since about 2000. Some addictions worse than others. But when my daughter was born last year I found that the 4 to 6 hour a night game play was something that could never fit my new life style. For me, the fact that I only need to commit 30 minutes a night to this game is a huge bonus and allows me maintain my status as a gamer, even if its on a much smaller level.

But to the OP I can understand the need to want a much more focused game play. But think about this. In the big MMORPGs you don't level in 30 minutes. Maybe at lower levels, but the higher you get, the next thing you know its taking you 4 to 8 hours of grinding to hit that next level. So the only way for FS to counter something like this would be to boost creature stats so you no longer have 1 hit mobs, but 5 to 10 hit mobs.

I guess what im saying here is that its a delicate meter in any game to try and provide adequate progression, but not to much progression. Otherwise your players get frustrated and leave or get bored and leave.

And I really dont think this has anything to do with not wanting to upset the high level players. Seen many times in games, mechanics introduced to aid lower level players. Players scream, some leave, but in the end things keep going.

Also this is a suggestion... and it would mess up all game mechanics and everything that has been set in place... I for one, as well as everyone else who has posted here think it is fine as is...

Stamina is something in this game many don't understand... but because it exists it helps new players have grounds to get to the top later on...

Or, even cheaper, if you want your stamina to last longer, hunt without Doubler (ah, the good old days....)
