I submitted a similar ticket to the cows about adding a banner at main page for ppl to avoid scam so i guess this idea will work too with that banner.

I think this should be included in the anti-begging/anti-guild selling reminders. :)

Did you know that there are likely over 2000 rouge black holes in our galaxy alone. Each of them can reach very high speeds, even in space terms, are each capable of destroying anything in their path, and are invisible. Well, goodnight!

I'm actually not sure if this will accomplish what you'd hope. I am guessing that the vast majority of players would not re-read anything. Heck, I'm willing to bet the vast majority of people don't actually read them when creating their account.

If you put it right in front of their faces then they'll bound to read it.

Maybe make it so that they have to spend at least a minute on the page reading it, otherwise they can't continue? lol

but this would not accomplish anything as people will not read it they would just do something else in the mean time, it will also waste time of other people which could be valuable such as finishing a bounty or joining a pvp tourney

The question is if you did not know Player Lotteries are bannable offenses, where in game do you go as a noob to find out this information?

The link to the AUP is at the bottom of every page: http://www.huntedcow.com/usage2.html

Player run competitions that include, but are not limited to, lotteries, quizzes, or draws that require payment for entry are not permitted. Fallen Sword have official free to enter competitions, all others are considered against our rules and no loses incured by participating in these illegal competitions will be reimbursed by Hunted Cow Studios Ltd.

What if you put in a secret paragraph in the User Agreement going something like this:

"Hunted Cow Studios would like to thank you for reading our full User Agreement! If you check the box below and click Submit, the account you create will be terminated at level 3. Instead, you can create an account using this link instead: {{insert link}} without worry of termination unless you break the rules."

I would laugh so hard at all the level 3's saying they didn't do anything wrong :D

Or something like that without being so harsh.

I think that is going a little too far lol.

Anyhow, if they announce every so often the link to the user agreement page and rules aswell on the Homepage, and state that there may be new rules then i'm sure people will read it, some people don't know the rules, so it is better to post them to just update people.

I don't see why not. O.o
