I did a search for this and didn't find anything, so if this has already been suggested I didn't see it. I was just now looking at the FS Update on how creature skills are now working correctly and I had a quick thouhg. I haven't thought this thru at all so feel free to rip it apart.

What if players were allowed to allocate not only skill points and level-up points as they grew, but also Enhancment points? For example, what if for every 5 or 10 levels you were allowed to allocate +1 to any enhancement you desired? You could add +1 to CH or PS or Duelist. Whatever you wanted. Not doing it every level, but say every 5 or 10 might keep it from become too powerful at low but at higher levels allow players to do a little more with thier characters. At +1 every 5 levels then a player would have had a total of +20. They might have all +20 in PS or +10 in CH and +10 in Reinforced Armor.

At low levels many players would probably do what they mistakenly do with Skill points when they allocate only a few points to each buff and they turn out being buffs they don't later want. So, I would add to this that players be allowed to do an Enhancement Reset for 100 FSPs as a Chracter Upgrade, like we now have with Skills and Level-Up points.

I know FS is concerned that the game is too easy. So I'm thinking of this as a way for players to specialize their chracters a little more without making it too easy. Maybe there could even be a cost attached to this where you woould have to pay 100k gold for every enhancement point you wanted to allocate?

This might suck or it might be cool. I don't know. You tell me.

IMHO not necessary. Most of the combat sets will provide you with 100% of the important enhancements, especially since forging increases them.

What would be IMHO much better would be to allow the enhancements to go OVER 100%.

Well, that would then make the Empower buff suddenly a lot more useful. :o

As well as a ton of interesting items, because if you could get PS rating of 260%, it would now seriously matter what gear you put up together. I can't recall the last time I had PS BELOW 100% when creepkilling...

Plus with the enhancements on creatures, having set-ups go over the 100% could help, and make you think of which set-ups will be best for hunting. O.o

I I agree with gonig over 100% I suggested this not to long ago mainly to make having extra enhancment points and buffs like empower more worthit so yea I think you should be able to go over 100% as I suggested before.

empower could be modified to allow enhancements to go over 100%. make it max 200% at level 200 thats 0.5% per one point in the skill...

and level 250% PS would guarentee it kicking in...

i don't like the idea of alocating enhancement points though...

So now item and guild enhancements are not enough? I have almost 100% piercing in my xp gain set and 3 other 100% enhancements, so no thanks.

Hmm....it's because as with the game now, enhancements are seen to have more potential if they can go over the 100% mark, which gives more usefulness to certain aspect and skills which is Empower.

I do support the going over 100% mark idea, and I've thought more on it, since the creature enhancements have been fixed. It isn't so much as 100% isn't enough, it is more the fact of the potential of it.
