It's kind of like a stamina and gold sink. Becuase if there's failure in extracting, it means it disappears, if there isn't then we won't lose anything and actually gain more, if there is a failure yet we can still trade them, then others who have failed could have no risk of failing.

Trading plants is like giving someone a lottery ticket. Anyhow, the way I see it. They got it setup now to as a formula to cause both gold and FSP sink. I don't necessarily agree with it this way, I have seen in other games players will craft base items to pass on to others that want to craft higher items. But bottom line, I can see why it is how it is.
