OK, I posted a "SE elite found - first offer secures " message and quickly sold the location. But, 'cos the msg is active for an hour, i'm still getting swamped with "i'll buy" messages.

Would be nice if the buyer of the FS Box message also had the option to cancel it again after its served its purpose ..

really, there is no point in posting on FSB or SB you found a SE especially if you found it while hunting because some SE hunters who are desperate for business or looking to burn a group may locate your realm and go there, search for it and kill it leaving you with swat.

just PM a SE hunter that pays good and tell them teh location.

And that doesn't really have to do with the topic much. You're just countering his example on why it would be a good idea.

I'd say yes because it could have some uses. :D

I think it's a good idea as well. I've posted in the FSBox before for selling buffs but was pulled away. It would be nice to be able to remove your msg.

Under normal circumstances, I know what you mean - 'cos if a L10 or so finds The Cursed Samurai, you know exactly what realm he's in - but, i was herb hunting today, so could have been anywhere.

The point is moot tho - the question was, is it a good idea to be able to cancel an FS Box or not ? - the example of a located S.E. was just that, an example.

Yes it is a good idea to unclog the FSB, but the player needs some benefit about canceling it.

Did you know that there are likely over 2000 rouge black holes in our galaxy alone. Each of them can reach very high speeds, even in space terms, are each capable of destroying anything in their path, and are invisible. Well, goodnight!

For the purpose of buffs I think would be a good one. It seems that when I do look for buffs outside the guild I run into at least 3 or 4 buffers that have either gone AFK for the night or run out of stamina.

And on that note.....

FSB is 1 hour right? I have on more than one occasion hit a buffers screen from FSB... said they have been gone for 30+ minutes and still have lots of stamina. What the heck is up with that?

They left unexpectidely. People do have lives outside of their computers, they just forget they had to do something, and post a message 5 minutes before they have to get off, and yes, the FSB is one hour.

Sure but its such a waste of fsp and it happens so often. Take this one for example: http://www.fallenswo... ... _id=926117 Not picking on the guy, been a good guy to hit up for buffs in the past. Just odd that he has been afk for an hour now and I found his shout. Its like he posted it then decided to go to bed 10 seconds later.

Point being it happens WAY to much to be wasting FSP.

I voted yes. But I'm pretty sure that this has been asked before. Personally i never use the FSbox and only use the shoutbox. Never have any problems there.
