You cannot sell FSP outside of FS... It is also in the rules... this includes but is not limited to Ebay, paypal, or any other auction site...

Criminals will see it as a way to use stolen credit cards buy fsp and resell quick on ebay (home of all that is illegal).
Another game i won't mention has gone to great lengths to fix this problem. I don't want to see the Cows spending all their time tracking illegal actives and not doing upgrades.
If you have fun while playing then the money is well vested. You don't get your money back after seeing a movie in the theater do you?

Did you know that there are likely over 2000 rouge black holes in our galaxy alone. Each of them can reach very high speeds, even in space terms, are each capable of destroying anything in their path, and are invisible. Well, goodnight!

You do get something back from your time here - entertainment. Nobody forces you to donate. If you choose to pay real money, you can't expect anything special in return; you get the points, and that's the only reward. Live with it. You can always quit if you think something's unfair.i would however like to see sumthing back from my time here

if someone makes a few dollars back it doesnt take away from hcs
Yes it does, all those FSP you had to spend upgrading your character the next guy pays you for and not HCS

And CC's used to buy FSP with illegitimate money too... money laundering...
There is alot of illegal stuff mentioned in the practice of doing it... not to mention a DIRECT TOS VIOLATION...
Buying some FSP on ebay for cheaper then they sell in FS...
...and getting a permanent IP ban, priceless

people can easily send cash/checks through mail or in person and then transfer points to the other's account so it is still possible with out being caught
Seriously.... why? It's just as likely that someone who cares nothing about breaking the rules in FS will simply pocket your money, and give you nothing.
What are you going to do, complain to HCS?

And random constant transfers of mass FSP to other people won't appeal suspicious at all... think about it... there are only x amount of people who will even be selling these FSP... and only limited amounts of people will know the people who sell them...people can easily send cash/checks through mail or in person and then transfer points to the other's account so it is still possible with out being caught

a smart player would send messages to the other possibly making a deal on asking can i borrow xxx amount of fsp and never mention anything about buying them from the other player with their own cash im not saying it wouldn't be suspicious but hcs can only do so much to stop the sale of FSP between players and their own cash
