very good idea. i see no point in getting set bonuses if the set is pretty much broken until you repair it

It makes perfect sense, i wonder what reasons someone voting "No" could come up with..

Set bonuses aren't from the items themselves, they're magically given to a wearer of the enchanted equiptment. Since the bonuses are there due to a magical effect, it only makes sense that the bonuses wouldn't go away no matter what the durability of an item is. Remember items don't break, they just become less durable.

Sure they break, if you do not repair at all :D

Set stats should be following the damage taken.

But as a sould has said, "Anything is possible in sci-fi" ;)

Gotta say this is my actual thought on the matter too, if the sword (for instance breaks) you still have it in your hand right? The bonus's are given by bringing the pieces together, even when damaged they are still together.
