they have these things called suspensions. temp bans. already in place. if the case is severe enough (as with the recent streak of bans due to thousands of dollars being lost by HCS) then a ban is placed without question. It specifically stats in the TOS that they have the right to terminate any account at any time.

I used to do saturday morning trivia, as an example, and even though I didn't charge people to enter I gave out prizes. This violated one of the terms of use that I hadn't read and I got a two day ban. Ir was reasonable and to the point. As a mom when my kid breaks the rules I sit them in the corner for a bit, HCS has their own way of doing 'time out'

well, permanent bans do seem a bit OTT. however HCS deems that to be the answer to players that repeatedly break the rules or do something so severe.

I would really like to see a disciplinary plan something like this. (the severity of the offense can allow it to be upped though)

1st offense - 24 hour suspension
2nd offense - 48 hour suspension
3rd offense - 1 week suspension
4th offense - 1 month ban
5th offense - 6 month ban
6th offense - 1 year ban

Really, Not sure if perm banned is the way to go, regardless of what they do. Im sure stepping away for a year might change some peoples thought and they could (if they want to) come back and try to change.

However this is just an idea (mainly because, whether I liked or disliked them, it is sad to see people that were once prominent names in FS with terminated accounts {cannot even read their bios} however I also see why HCS feels the need to perm ban the accounts)

Maybe HCS could terminate the accounts yet make their profile still veiwable and where it would normally say Inactive account replace it with Terminated account.

Before, you couldn't even tell if a player was perma banned or not(there was one way[Their profile pic changed to the default, but the link for another player still had their normal avatar])

But HCS changed it to the way it is now

before termination/suspension you could also submit a ticket and -possibly- be unbanned, if circumstances permitted. :)

also everyone is essentially a game player you are all RPGs Role playing what you think u shud be like in a game

if i think redfay should be a bad punk in game where in real life i am queit i can be ... i think the max should be like a month off from the game to let the ppl recooperate cause perm bans are just saying we arnt giving u another chance for whatever u did....

i think unlesssin serious cases a month ban would well suit...

For the most recent ban of people for fraud on the fsp credit card offers. I believe they should be banned forever. I support Hoofmaster in his decision. Thats a lot of money lost.
