I would like to suggest and granted it will either be flamed or shot down, that HCS makes a multiple choice test on the game rules and randomly send it to players once a month. Keeping track on their account if they have taken the quiz or not.

With this quiz it will allow HCS to see which players are actually playing by the rules of the game and which players are ignoring the rules or simply don't care.

uhm.. sure.. but I think we (read the players) deal with ppl breaking the rules just fine =)

No one can deny that we changed this game and influenced it in such a way that NO ONE could compete with us.. so much so that they changed the rules. ~Abhorrence, chosen founder of Cerulean Sins

How often would the test take place?

Did you know that there are likely over 2000 rouge black holes in our galaxy alone. Each of them can reach very high speeds, even in space terms, are each capable of destroying anything in their path, and are invisible. Well, goodnight!

no one said anything about homework. I play another RPG where the game admins send a quiz on the rules randomly and you get a prize for answering the questions pertaining to rules and game security.

There are rules (laws) and there are ethic values. Some rules are enforced by coding (see PvP level limitation or Secure Trade), some are not.

You seem to start with the basic postulate that people do not respect rules because they do not know them - highly debatable.

Someone that attacks randomly all players in his range, some repeatedly, is not breaking any rules. Values maybe (but even then - it's a game, not RL). Someone that tricks another player into selling him a 100 FSP worth item for 20 is not breaking any rules either.

It would help us in evaluating your idea id you could give us 2-3 examples of such questions.

Sample ?1 What is the legal age to have an Fallen Sword account?
Sample ?2 Is it OK to transmit personal information through the game?
Sample ?3 Is it OK to have mulitple accounts on Fallen Sowrd?

Hopefully that gives an idea of some of the questions, hoever HCS would be the ones to make the questions up based on both the Usage Agreement and the Forum Rules.

No thanks; I could see making someone do this once. But once a month?!? Come on! No way.

Again. It would be random and HCS would keep track of who did it.
