I would like a button under each skill, that on activation flagged you in your guild as "requesting a buff with that skill".

To me its a bit of a stretch having to ask for buffs. I played Diablo in many years and I never asked anyone for freebies- and I always found it a bit pathetic when others did. I know its not quite the same in FS, but still - its a stretch.

Perhaps it would be a bit much if a message was added to the guild log every time someone requested a flag- so I guess there should be some way of seeing the flags on the guild list. Perhaps just one flag pointing out that- this players is requesting buffs. Then when we click on the player it should show wich buffs in the profile.

Of course it would be each players own responsibility to turn off the request-flags once you are low on stam- and cant use the buffs anymore.

Not sure what your point is? But my point was that having to write messages like that is exactly what I dont like about this game.

I think he's asking for a "Buffs Request" report, similar to the chat, group and log reports. (and if he isn't, then I am...)

you get a side-screen notice "There is a new Buff Request" and when you go to the report you see:

Player1 needs buffs (reason: I can haz huntig bufs?) [Buff]
Player2 needs buffs (reason: Going for a relic) [Buff]
Player3 needs buffs (reason: need FI for an elite) [Buff]

etc...

Actually, I think this would be a great feature for higher guild members to instantly see which players need buffs quickly.

All for one and one for all, etc...

basically he wants people to buff him telepathically, thus meaning he doesn't have to ask (if you don't like charity buy it from someone) and he gets it instantly, because people will go oh ho he needs buffing, because the though just came to them...

Answer if you don't want to ask for buffs, either
1. buy them
2. don't use buffs, you can play the game without
3. get a life... your asking for something that is made up in the end
4. no really get a life, what does this matter, and what are you asking for?...

I'd actually like to see this because it would make buffing my guildmates so much easier... Something I like to do as often as possible.

I'm fine just asking in guild chat. In AoD, you are expected to ask in guild chat for buffs, and you get buffs. Typing one sentance isn't that much work, is it?

Did you know that there are likely over 2000 rouge black holes in our galaxy alone. Each of them can reach very high speeds, even in space terms, are each capable of destroying anything in their path, and are invisible. Well, goodnight!

no, but alot of people ignore the chat, especially when they're hunting. and they'll ignore the guild log messages. but they'll take time to click on their personal log and the attack groups messages when they pop up.

buff requests would activate the same way, and unfufilled buff requests could also cancel when the player logs out (or times out).

by the way, in case you hadn't noticed, I'm bumping this topic because I really want to see this incorporated.

Good idea to let the requests time out when players logs off

I think it would be useful if you would be able to buff directly from a person's profile page. "Buff me!" could be included in the available actions. This would be useful when you check if your guildmate has any stamina left, and what buffs he already has.
Another buffing improvement would be to be able to directly buff from the guild chat message, in the same way as from your personal log messages. Most buff requests come from guild mates anyway, through the chat, unless you are selling buffs, of course.

Thoroughly interesting idea and extremely worthy for clearing up the Chat (and thus, FS storage space, hint, hint).

How about a Guild Structure for it? (give some incentive to HCS for all their hard work ,oP).

They could create possible buff requests for each Structure upgrade. This could either be fixed or be set by GF (or similar permission). The idea would be (like mentioned) that a line appears similar to a new AG that Guild Members could then click on to see the current requests. Grant it, I think using the levels already activated is going overboard (though I'd like it), but I'll leave that to HCS.

The ideology behind the structure would be that members could click on a Buff Request link. Depending on the Structure upgrade, guild members could click on a link for "Buff Request". There they could see who's requesting buffs and at what time and perhaps for what. Higher upgrades would allow more specific definitions (ie., those mentioned above, hunting, Elite, PvP, on the BB, etc.). This could be set by the GF with specific names or be standard.

Possibilities are limitless.... but we could also add:

1. Specific buff requests with boxes to click on those you need.

2. (Like mentioned) A buff request deactivation (when a specific buff has been given or could be deactivated by the player requesting).

Just brainstorming, but would like to see something implemented to this effect. (o0

If they ignore their log and guild chat, they'd ignore buff requests through this also.
